Request: old film, possibly post apoc

Hello,

So I'm asking if you can help me finding an old film. It is my first memory of this fetish; I was a teen, visiting friends of my parents, and I remember I saw a scene in TV that changed my life. It was a very quick scene, but I stared to the screen unable to understand why it fascinated me in that way. It was something like 15-20 years ago.

It's hard for me to remember details, but I think the theme was post-apoc or something similar (I remember there was sand), and there was a woman with a wound in the stomach; inside you could see moving black roller chains (like bicycle chains, only bigger).

Eve of the apocalypse? can't remember the name.

The one where a doctor creates an android replica of herself and the android goes for her daughter since it was her "designed target" during the tests.

During one scene she is in a bathroom inspecting the damage she sustained in a fight, which she then repairs with duct tape. And there is something like that.
