Showcasing My Stuff So Far
Hi all,
I'm brand new here- just out of the box, if you will- so if I'm ignorant of the formatting of the posts here, I'll have to beg your pardon for the time being.
Thing is, I've been into this technosexuality stuff since I was a teen- that'd make it about 15 years or so of jonesing over clunkers. For the past four or so, I've been really flexing my English degree and writing about it. As if that isn't niche enough, I'm also involved in a certain fandom that starts with "F" and rhymes with "curry", so you can only imagine the kind of debauchery I get up to. That said? I've finally gotten around to being present on the internet's #1 robosexual board! Which means I get to share it all here- about 5 stories in total and counting, seeing as I'm working on another one right now.
Problem is, and I'm so sorry if this means it's inaccessible to some here, all of my work is up on FurAffinity. At some point I'd like to see about getting it on the FembotWiki (although...to be honest, not all of it -has- fembots, I've got some gay readers as well), but for now I thought I'd extend the olive branch with what I've got available. For those interested, you can find them all below:
"The Iron Magpie"
http://www.furaffinity.net/gallery/coro ... ron-Magpie
A young political student gets embroiled in a war between a corporate paramilitary group and a shadowy organization of artificial intelligences, who send a highly capable combat android to protect and escort him across a war-torn Italy for extraction.
"The Broken Ones"
http://www.furaffinity.net/gallery/coro ... roken-Ones
The heir to a major android manufacturing company in Europe is kidnapped in Germany by a rogue, female android and held hostage. As the two come to know each other, they must contend with a dedicated investigator of the German police force, GSG-9, and the mercenaries sent by the company to retrieve him.
"The Wave"
http://www.furaffinity.net/gallery/coro ... 8/THE-WAVE
The end has come. In the distant future, androids are commonplace- and deadly. A virus, spread globally by an unknown agent, has turned mankind's greatest creation into vast swarms of mindless beasts that murder any organic they see. In the midst of it all, a young woman travels from a safe zone on Vancouver Island to the mainland, hoping to find her childhood synthetic caretaker.
"CHASER"
http://www.furaffinity.net/gallery/coro ... -H-A-S-E-R
It was the trip of a lifetime. Four Americans travel to Tokyo for a hedonistic week of partying, drugs and adventure. But the trip turns into a nightmare when an unremarkable sex droid rented by them attains sentience, falling madly in love with one- and deeming the rest a threat.
"CLOSER"
http://www.furaffinity.net/gallery/coro ... -L-O-S-E-R
The only survivor of "CHASER" is alive, though not exactly well- and on the run in Mexico. Destitute and paranoid after what happened in Tokyo, he becomes involved in the cartels, running guns and information. All the while, a secret organization in the CIA is tracking his every move. And the android that caused him so much misery has no intention of letting him go- with a new body and as strong of a will as ever, she closes in with each passing hour.
That's what I've got so far. For those of you who can access it, please enjoy the reading.

Re: Showcasing My Stuff So Far
So I just got done reading The Iron Magpie.
Words can't express how instantly gripped I was with the story. I can count the stories that make me stop reading and actually start seeing a movie in my head with one hand. This one turned that count into one hand a finger.
That was incredible. The way Allie, Cyril and Waite all operate as characters was amazing, and you had me gripping my own chest with pain at how visibly and emotionally painful some of those moments were.
I've got nothing else. I'm actually very quiet around here, come often, but post little. But I had to say something about this.
Maybe I should temper my own expectations with the rest of what you've posted here, but that was a gripping start.
I'd also love to bid you welcome, even if I'm not a very active member at all.
As for your background; I wouldn't worry. From what I know of the community through their posts, nobody here really has a problem with others' preferences, like your fandom. In fact, I do believe you and Rob the Fixer might have a lot in common, if you've not already met elsewhere. Maybe Gynoneko too.
I do have a question. I do recall Libralabs art making references to MERVAS units. Is this a particular thing? Coincidence seemed too convenient, and now I'm curious.
Well, all that being said. Thanks for the read, and the experience. Welcome to Fembot Central!

Hello! Thanks for the warm welcome, and thanks for reading. I'm glad you enjoyed it, that was one of my more popular ones.MalcfunctionCrazyfor wrote:So I just got done reading The Iron Magpie.

I think I may already know several people here, I just haven't encountered them yet. If I don't know them, and they're involved in my community, chances are I've heard of them. It won't take much to get off the ground once we all meet, I'm sure.
And yes! "MERVAS" is actually not my concept. I'm friends with the person who created it (also a robophile/furry), and on top of that, this person in particular enjoys a close relationship with Libra. I happen to be a friend of Libra's as well, and they've done a few pieces of art for me. MERVAS is the "secretive AI organization" I referred to in the synopsis. This particular story was written with permission to use the concept, and it was considered a companion piece- or rather, an extended universe piece- to what the original creator had already implemented. But seeing as how myself and the MERVAS creator have a friendly relationship, I'm mostly free to write on it so far as I discuss it with them beforehand.

Re: Showcasing My Stuff So Far
Oh my, I've been mentioned. Anyway, welcome!
I remember reading The Broken Ones a long time ago and enjoyed it from start to finish (I also recall a piece of artwork inspired by a scene from said story done by Talynn, I think that's his name?).
I keep telling myself to read your other stories but haven't got the chance. :s

Aaaaaah, so that's where you got that icon. I remember them showing me that piece awhile back. Talynn and I used to be friends, but sadly we're no longer on speaking terms.
But thank you for reading! I'm happy to hear my stuff is being enjoyed here. It's giving me a much-needed motivation boost for writing my current project.

I couldn't initially access the other stories. Eventually found out how. They're well written, even for a non-furry.Hooskqvarna wrote:What's up?User1222 wrote:Nevermind

I'm having trouble seeing the other stories myself. Is there different links to try?

Hi! I'm sorry, I'm afraid that's the only place they're all hosted. I wanted to put a few on FembotWiki, but it sounds like FW is on borrowed time already.

You'll need to register an account and then go under account settings and enable all adult and mature content. Then they'll all show up.Maria wrote:I'm having trouble seeing the other stories myself. Is there different links to try?

I was only able to access Iron Magpie. For some reason I can’t seem to find the other stories like The Broken Ones. Can anyone assist?
Sometimes you just gotta look at the Bryte side!
