Ahhhhhhhhh! Uso! No way! Viz is bringing SaiKano over to the US! *_* *_* *_*
I love this series! Well, I guess you can tell by my username too, since that's the name of the main character ^^ I've got the fansubs, and the whole manga series in Japanese, even though it's a pain to read ^^;
Don't be mistaken though, this is really a love story, not about fembots. Just because Chise gets turned into a super-weapon that can destroy armies and more doesn't mean she's not human... or... wait... is she human? erm... arm turning into gun... missiles launching from... well, ok, yeah, but she isn't a sexbot! But... what about that episode... where... Shu-chan and Chise... ahhh... H! *^^*
Ok, so it does match up with some fembot themses. But still, at the core, SaiKano is a love story, and a roller coaster ride of emotions. It's one of the few anime that actually made me cry...
Anyway go buy the DVDs and read the manga! You won't regret it!
