goodness gracious
I am...we are glad you came back.
Many of us wondered what had happened that made you decided to delete, all of the sudden and no warning all your sweet sweet content.

Re: Hey folks...
Looks like a two girl week for me! Take that as you will...
On the plus side, I'm twice as productive as usual!
On the negative, it's probably all downhill from here.
As always...over on the wiki -->

My compliments for this one, Froggy! The rings around the eyes were done perfectly. Having suffered the RROD in an Xbox, it really brings to contrast the woman's humanity and artificiality.
Makes me image a story kind of like
"Hey Crissy?" My recently new boyfriend's-ex at the kitchen table caught my attention. She was mulling over some hot tea I'd poured her after inviting her in to get some of the stuff she'd left.
"What?" I asked, still bustling around the kitchen. Erik was a nice guy, but he wasn't the cleanest, and I wasn't sure it was going to work out. Especially considering how he'd treated Lindsey after they broke up. I'd been worrying about it a lot lately.
"Those pretty green rings around your eyes. They indicate your system is working fine or not, right?"
"Yeah, I think so. They supposedly can be other colors, I think. I've never seen anything but green though, of course." I said. I wasn't ashamed to talk about my eyes. I felt human enough, and the little ways my robotic nature showed through just gave me an exotic edge.
"That's what I thought. You might want to know, they keep flashing red. And you keep... pausing." Lindsey said.
"What??" I stopped in my tracks. "Really?"
The busty red head solemnly nodded. I stood, quietly, as though a malfunction were something I could hear.
A few seconds later she said, "It happened again."
I didn't notice anything. Worried, I studied Lindsey's face. I couldn't actually see someone's heart rate from more than a foot away, but I could see she was nervous. Did Lindsey actually care? I always thought she blamed me for her and Erik's breakup. Which was totally unfair; Erik had starting hitting on me. I didn't even know he already had someone until after they'd broken up.
"I don't feel anything." I said.
"Come look," Lindsey said. She held up her phone and activated the mirror-camera. I walked over and looked at it carefully.
Malfunctioning wasn't something I'd ever experienced before, and I wasn't sure what to do. My face stared back at me from the camera, blond hair framing my striking hazel eyes, with the thin green band around the edges shining brightly.
"What do I do? Do I call tech support? I'll have to look up the number. I still don't see anything - how often is this happening?"
Lindsey looked even more nervous. "You glitched again. I guess when you glitch you don't see the glitch because you're, you know, glitching. Probably we should call tech support. Here, let me set my phone on camera mode so it can record it." She pulled her phone back and turned on recording. "Want me to take a look at your circuits and see if anything looks amiss?"
I took the phone and stared in it again and with a decidedly non-human thought - the non-human-like thoughts always felt quite a bit different - I opened my chest service panel. The odds of whatever was wrong being there seemed small, but maybe...
"Ah!" Lindsay said. "I do see a tiny bit of charring right there." She cautiously pointed at something inside my panel, oddly looking at my face as much as she did the opening into my inner workings.
"Dang! It was probably Charlie, that neighbor's kid. He squired me in the chest yesterday. I'm supposed to be watertight, but I'm paranoid - for good reason, apparently. Do you thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiin"
My voice froze into a solid tone as Lindsay reached the rest of the way into my panel and pulled lose some small component. If I could have processed anything I was seeing at that point, I'd have noticed the rings around my eyes simultaneously turn a bright orange-red.
When I next was able to notice anything, Erik wouldn't be the person top on my mind.

Re: Hey folks...
Glad you like it Dieur, it's turned out to be one of my favorites a well.
If you (or any other authors here) feel inspired to write by some manip I've done, by all means go for it! They're out there to be enjoyed and we could use some more vignettes around here, I think.

Re: Hey folks...
Kickin off 2018 with a gal who partied a little too hard on New Year's Eve.
And she's probably not the only one, repair tech says he can't be here 'till next week...
As always, over on the wiki--->
(And January 2018 marks 10 damn years I've been putting manips up here on the wiki...a big thanks to the even older-timers that got me started, and the newer folks that keep me going. Hope 2018 turns out good for every last one of ya!)

Re: Hey folks...
Glad you like it! Yeah, I played with her faceplate all over the place, ultimately I didn't want it to completely bury the neck seam, I wish I'd had a little more room to work with in that area...if only her tits had been smaller...
Wait, what am I sayin?!?

Re: Hey folks...
Okay, I recognize the environment (sold simply as "Hotel Room" by Polish on Daz3d.com), but the robotic models are new to me - and I thought I had seen pretty much all the robotic character models available for Daz/Poser. So is this a figure you made yourself, or is it available for sale/download somewhere? It looks like you've got it following the poses well, meaning it's either based off the G2F or G3F IK bones, or made of wearable props. So where'd it come from?

Re: Hey folks...
It's mine, WIlloWisp. It's a combination of several parts- some parentable props and some conforming characters (so I can only load what I need for "partial reveals" and keep the memory overhead lower). That's Sasha-16 in the picture...she's a V4 re-rig by Karina that I'm just loving. Never really went to the Genesis figures, my V4/M4 library is years deep and it was never worth the hassle of mannequins and re-rigging and all that.

Re: Hey folks...
...And sometimes you just want a cute little package of the latest technology.
BUT before you run off to the wiki to look, humor me a question- it's for everybody (and maybe slightly more for Robotman since he's paying for the bandwidth, I think). Last several images I've put up have been at 300 dpi...this last one is 72. Now, on the 4k monitor I work on 72dpi images look like hell, but the files size is 3-4x smaller. Do the 72's look ok to most of you...are the 300's enough better to justify the file size? Is there a decent way to compress the 300's without losing fidelity that I haven't stumbled across?
Did you mash "Reply" and let me know what you think? Good!
Now off to the Wiki with you!
