Opinions on the transparency would be appreciated.

Well, I have an idea for a comic with the same characters sprites/design, but this was just transparency test I built a comic around.

The transparency is good, but can be improved, so here's a tip:
Use a low hardness eraser to smooth the edges, you can reduce the opacity of the eraser too. Will make the robot parts more "inside"
