Can't say how (don't want to risk it for sure). One Daisy LMD does survive, used for only two scenes but shooting someone important in the show before meeting its end. And one Jemma LMD shows up in the very last ep to help Fitz.

Wow Daisy LMD was hot. Too bad there's too few scenes and no malfunctions. The LMDs' end was quick and swift.
Overall this was a great season. Thank you Anderson88 and the rest of the crew. Add more bots next season please now that they have the technology and a new setting for adventures.

I know this is a super old thread, but I had to mention that this last season of Agents of SHIELD has some Fembot action. Having worked on the show, I got to see all but the last few episodes (though I know how it ends).

No LMDs that I remember, but definitely female Chronicoms. In Ep 2 or Ep 3 (whichever one is set in the 1950s), a female Chronicom infiltrates a military base and plugs herself into its system using big cables that connect to her chest. A fight ensues and she meets an unfortunate end.

Don’t remember the rest of the season since it’s been literally almost a year since they wrapped filming, but it’s worth a watch!
