From what Ive found on Japanese wiki pages スフィア sufia? Is her name and from what I can gather she might just be a cyborg as she is found in "cold sleep" without her memories, and only has super human strength in her arms.

Crazy thought - has anyone tried Google's smartphone app? Didn't even know it could do real-time translation from the camera until just a few days ago.

It pretty much says she is a mysterious girl who wakes up from a cold sleep without her memories or identity. More than half of her body is mechanical, and its the protagonist's job to help her figure that out.
