Cats purr when happy. How should a fembot react to charging?

Rahyndee [called MJ Joyce in a nice visit to Robolust] has convinced me with her training session with another mesmerist, that a fembot may be most attractive while charging at her station, neither being talkative nor sitting absolutely stone-still.

When not charging, her orgasms are straight-forward orgasms; when charging, instead she stores charge gathered from her stimulation. During the process, she can only barely store the whole orgasm. A minor fraction of her energy escapes through her small moans and twitching, which reminded me quickly of Stepford Mary's behavior while a "very lucky girl". Adorable, and you can see the charger is working.

Maybe some folks would like a fembot with eyes that light up, or slowly beep while she charges; or the obvious convenience of a plug for household current, or swappable batteries. Rahyndee's example adds this gratuitous, muffled orgasm-response to charging, and makes clear how much she "likes" charging, and to be observed responding to charging.

I'm partial to the idea of otherwise invisible bars flashing under the skin, like on a cell phone screen. It would be located somewhere visible like in the neck/collarbone area.

The port should be located somewhere inconspicuous and where it doesn't get in the way of artificial muscles, like on the side of the ribcage (Yeah, I'm one of those who isn't a fan of the Bionic Woman-type faceplate).

She would be still and have a blank stare, she shouldn't use energy while recharging. Breathing might be useful for cooling.

My imagined future has energy to waste, the bots are affordable, the tech is reliable - so how do manufacturers distinguish their products from competition, when none of those factors are special? You can't put a fax machine and a scanner and a card reader into the printer AGAIN. And many folks don't like real-fur fur coats or contemporary ivory carvings.

Eventually, it's all down to design and style, presentation, rituals of luxury. So I'll spend extra energy for a pretty sight, like holiday lights. Maybe it only kicks in when her owner is around to appreciate her physical demonstration of what charging means to her.

My fembots just sunbathe, if they aren't powered by cold fusion. They also soak up power through their own motion.

I totally get the attraction to charging though. There are many possibilities, like a drugged-state (similar to ecstasy, for instance), or a change in skin color while plugged in. Even a change in personality. Neat stuff.
