So, am I the only one a bit repulsed by that mask? Reminds me of the main villain in Gary Anderson's Terrahawks.

Have to agree, the upper face does remind me of Zelda from Terrahawks as well, and I have to say I don't understand the marks on 'her' back either??

Really fugly manly face but damn those movements are pretty fluid and articulate for a robot :D I was thinking that it was just some kind of art exhibit so the marks and the mask are trying to make some kind of profound statement on covering up beauty that is covering up something else or something. Hell, I don't know. Fact is that if they can cover her with silicone and a prettier face and still get that range of movement (and have her lying on her back or sitting up cowgirl style) we may be on to something!
Thaw me out when robot wives are cheap and effective.

Apparently the art exhibit was about an object of desire being twisted and perverted and defiantly looking back from what our desires have transformed it into. From the filth and the manly voice and the horrible mask, the pole into its sternum, the distorted music, it's all about causing an uncanny valley effect (the robotic nature too but actually that one for us is a turn-on)

I suppose you could describe it as a step. Although I'm not sure it represents anything we haven't seen before. It was tethered, powered externally, and lacked any real autonomy, much less AI. If you don't want a good brain in there, all we really need is a fantastic portable power supply, and you're almost off to the races already. Only thing then is you'll need better visual processing. But shy of that, I see little improvement here.
