I had many ideas about "the background", i thought your possible death too . if you play with the the elements in the image you can try to figure out what might be happening for fun, it's all mind games
, like the covers of comics and toys.
But the idea first came to me by remembering mannequins in the street sales to make a scene where more curiosity was given to the robots than lust, also by remembering an old oleo painting about idyllic muslim slavery named the slave market by Jean-Léon Gérôme.
Firts for the background i thought about making a joke about you selling them to pay college debts,or me for being a bastard but there is a limit between silliness, pervertion and sexuallity that works... like the proportions of salt, vinegar and sugar to make ketchup, and i still make a very poor ketchup.
another ideas about the "background" was that the sisters went out for some reason, maybe getting you something, food, a present, something, etc, and ended without energy in a wrong place, or maybe some one forced them to shut down, maybe by holding saiaka(the box one) hostage, and that's why she is broken in pieces and maybe the reason ayaka (the pink one) looks angry/betrayed, because she wanted to protect her sisters, and couldn't.
