ASFR.ORG
ok we (a few people at FIMS) have been talking lately about the loss of stuckposing and now naga's den. i had offered to Host them, but did not think basictek was a Great sounding ASFR domain So i registered ASFR.org
NOW... what are we going to do with it, i still am waiting on hearing form Naga's Den and Stuckposing. should it be like Many-realms and just make it a landing page that point's to everyone? or what.
i'm willing to host a few thing's, make sub-domain's and redirect's, how ever the heavy lifting php/html stuff i really don't want to so
idea's ? offers to help what do we collectively what to do with it ?

Re: ASFR.ORG
Well, I miss Stuckposing, but assume by now that most of the data is gone, along with the site?
Me personally, its hard enough keeping my blogs going at Wordpress, without anything else!

Re: ASFR.ORG
No offense intended, but getting a domain, and making sub-domains and redirects is the absolute easiest parts of running a website. As such, if anybody had an inkling that they wanted to run another ASFR-related site, they could easily get a domain.Lord Hypno wrote:i'm willing to host a few thing's, make sub-domain's and redirect's, how ever the heavy lifting php/html stuff i really don't want to so idea's ? offers to help what do we collectively what to do with it ?
But if you really want to make a website, then go do the heavy lifting. It's time- and knowledge-intensive. Asking for someone to do it for less than industry rates (i.e. free) is just insulting.

Re: ASFR.ORG
If anyone has the old Fembot Central galleries backed up somewhere, transfer them entirely to ASFR.ORG if possible.

Re: ASFR.ORG
I'd like to see a better fiction site, something with the tagging / search capabilities of Fictionmania, Big Closet, Gromet's Plaza, TG Story Time or something similar, so that you can more easily look up stories by tagged keyword, author, title search, etc.
A bulletin board / message forum isn't really the best method for handling fiction.
What would really be awesome would be someplace archiving some of the older stories that are hard to find, but unfortunately a lot of those authors are no longer reachable to give permission. Also, ASFR was stretched to cover mannequins, statues, etc... the keyword / filtering ability would allow that content to be easy to separate, along with the conversion stories, malfunction, mind control, mandroids, etc....

The wiki has rudimentary tagging features in the form of Categories.NukuNookee wrote:I'd like to see a better fiction site, something with the tagging / search capabilities of Fictionmania, Big Closet, Gromet's Plaza, TG Story Time or something similar, so that you can more easily look up stories by tagged keyword, author, title search, etc.

Wow, that's a lot of categories... though just by story type narrows it down quite a bit (I'm not sure all of the stories are tagged, though): http://www.fembotwiki.com/index.php?tit ... y_categoryWilloWisp wrote: The wiki has rudimentary tagging features in the form of Categories.
