So, really, how popular is this site? I remember logging on with a huge number of new posts every day, but now, especially in the Discussion and Stories section. I know some people are posting stories, and I should write another one myself, but this isn't about stories. It's just about numbers. Have we seen growth or decline? I'm not trying to get everyone up in arms, but, I was curious, so I posted it in the off-topic section and we'll see where it goes. One simple question, but there are probably a million answers. I look forward to reading them.

I get here most days, morning and night, but do tend to read, rather than write most of the time. Mainly due to RL, got less time for things, in all honesty. But for me, I still get here as often as before, just probably pass through more than post nowadays
I'm just a 'girl' who wants to become a fembot whats wrong with that?

I post when I feel I have something to say. If I've nothing to add, not even a pithy but slightly off-topic witticism, I remain quiet.

I stop by usually once a week, sometimes more often.
Do you like or dislike my ongoing story Battlemachine Ayako? Leave a comment on the story's discussion pages on the wiki or in that thread. Thank you!

Indeed, even ignoring my own meager contributions, we've been seeing quite the influx of new fiction. Seems like the only place we're lacking in activity is discussion and feedback on those stories.

In fact that may only seem lacking to the contributing authors: Speaking for myself, I know authors can be absolutely insatiable when it comes to feedback.

Lack of feedback caused me to cease posting my art work as well. If no one is enjoying, why post it. I think that when people go through the trouble of creating something and posting it to a website for free, they are hoping for some feedback, it makes your effort seem worthwhile. True, the main reason I create the art is for my own entertainment, and I do a lot of work that I never intend to post, but when I do (post it) I am hoping for some feedback.

Hmmm....TX got me thinking. I am discouraged from writing to the point in which my stories never leave my Ipad or laptop. Of course there is a feeling everyone is waiting for everyone else to post. As we all know that hardly (if ever in some cases) work out that way.
Sometimes you just gotta look at the Bryte side!

Now there's a new reason to share - SciFi Dreamgirls hungers for the talent and sensibilities of fembot enthusiasts.

Promote your preferred kinds of stories.
Maybe there's feedback and a sense of purpose to be found.

This site is certainly popular with me and I check in most days.

I'm terrible at leaving feedback - I usually feel that just 'loved it' or 'hope to see more' is a bit weak and wait to think things over and post deeper and more insightful comment but RL gets in the way and I end up saying nothing at all! Despite this, everything I read bubbles away in my mind and much eventually finds its way into my own writing and back onto the board filtered through my own lenses as it were. I'm sorry to read that people are put off posting because they feel unappreciated and I for one will make more of an effort to say thanks there and then on reading from now on. Its only good manners after all and I slap myself on the wrist - ow!

I write for myself, to explore my fantasies. I post my stories on here because I am inspired by others and hope to return the favour. Imitation / inspiration is the sincerest form of flattery and am delighted, if I detect a hint of familiarity in someone else's writing, to think that my ideas may have helped to spark others' imaginations. For anyone who reads most of the material on here you'll have seen that I'm not shy of borrowing a word or idea myself which I hope the originators take as a compliment.

We've built our own lexicon of ideas: 'sleepers', 'selfware', 'perception filters', recently 'nappers' and the list goes on. For me, if I see a thought of mine developed my someone else this is a far greater compliment than any quick one line phrase of appreciation - though of course I do appreciate these and will try harder to reciprocate - so I very much hope that anyone with anything to share will continue to do so for sharing's sake alone.

Really? Why? I'm glad it does make you happy though! It's me with a key sticking out of my back. :)

Yes, it really makes me happy,

The image seems innocent, attentive, robotic and you... What more could one want?
