Just out of curiosity, I would like to know how many members of this Internet forum are into BDSM (bondage domination sado masochism). More importantly, how many of you have ever fantasized about dominating a robot, whether it's with (electric) whips, chains, handcuffs, (steel) rope, etc.? How many of you have actually fanstasized about being dominated by a robot? Robot-on-Human BDSM is a highly taboo subject to address, but I decided to ask folks about it anyway out of curiosity. Even though I am a Believer in Isaac Asimov's Three Laws of Robotics , there have been a few instances where EVEN I have fantasized about being captured by a rogue or "out of control" fembot and her forcing me to provide sexual services to her. For example, when TERMINATOR 3: RISE OF THE MACHINES (2003) first came out, many men (and some women) had fantasies about computers taking over Earth and being sexually abused by more of their T-X-like fembot minions. Of course, most of us know that this can be highly dangerous if this type of fantasy was brought to reality; the robot would start to assume that it could get away with doing just about anything to a Human being - including the worst. Even this may constitute an issue as well, because there will be the question of how can a robot tell the difference between "soft" sex, aggressive sex and overly aggressive sex. I am sure that an advanced set of both subroutines, commands, multiarrays and algorithms would help resolve that issue, I don't know. To be on the safe side, I would rather go with Human-on-robot BDSM, with me being the dominant one and my fembot being the submissive one (especially if I want to pimp some fembots someday). Well, how about the rest of y'all? Do you prefer robot-on-Human BDSM or do you prefer Human-on-robot BDSM?

Well lets see, however theoretically consensual it is in reality, if you're playing a transformation scenario, the victim pretty much needs to be restrained tightly! And be it nipple clamps, and/or electrics, there has to be a 'bit' of pain during the transformation in that sense. And I'm sure that the robot is going to be expected to do all the submissive "Yes, Master." stuff when transformed too.

Well, robot bdsm is just the flipside of the coin. It is potentially the safest form of bdsm ... and potentially the most dangerous kind. It all depends on the actual nature of the android and the level of sophistication imbued by its programming. I've written stories based on the idea of being a sub to a robot dom, notably Switch.

The thing about it is that the owner is still technically in control. He or she wants to be dominated. If things are going right, there is a "safe word" or something else that amounts to an escape hatch from the scenario, as well as limiters that keep a sufficiently advanced robot from going too far. The problems only start when or if the robot is capable of ignoring the off switch. In a mobius strip kind of way, it isn't really much different from the reason I like this fetish: the user still has control, even when being "controlled" -- and the robot serves. It's kind of like the classic "rape fantasy" many women have, which isn't actually rape at all, since the (non)violation is staged, safe, and above all desired.
