I fight the Patriarchy - and there's no Matriarchy to pose any threat like the Patriarchy;
so I don't fear the power of Feminists. I haven't been burned in family court, but I know that massive elements of our judicial system are corrupt or wrong-minded in their actions. I see a lot of OT-style violence, authoritarian violence over liberty - regardless of any actual practical measure of the effects (i.e. science-based policies).

It would be too easy for me to dismiss Fnord because he's angry and seems to feel fine stereotyping more broadly than I would. I'll never know the details, so I won't dismiss him, despite the ugliness. Also, many men might blog as Fnord does, from experiences they had with the same system. Problem is, some yelling the loudest will have been treated justly, but they will think themselves the victim. There are people out there with no empathy, no perspective on why or what they owe another person, or to society.

Unfortunately, they and Fnord sound much the same tone.
No one else here wants to sing along.

Fnord and I have been PMing, so I hope he doesn't mind me saying this in the forum, but I agree that men and women should be fighting patriarchy together. Likewise, I haven't had family court trouble, but I can see how decisions there might be fed by the flawed belief that it is men who are inherently violent and somehow not as valuable in the up bringing of children. That said, there are still strong societal pressures on both genders to perform certain roles. The sooner people are free from pressure to behave in any way that they don't want, the better. Also I cannot believe I have posted, seriously, to a thread with a title such as this one.
