Trying To Find A Play

Post by DollSpace » Wed Jan 25, 2012 7:02 am

Someone long ago posted something about a play, where humans didn't act anymore; they had been replaced by androids. They were supposed to feel relevant to their characters and then get shut off after the show, but two of them fall in love and try to defy the system. Does this sound familiar to anyone here? Any help is greatly appreciated! :)

I know what you're talking about; they even had pictures from it on the wiki at one point if I'm not mistaken...but I can't for the life of me remember the name of it!
Elvis Lives. Not in this timeline, but in quite a few others.

I think you're looking for Sir Alan Ayckbourn's "Comic Potential." I hope I'm remembering the same show that you are!

(claps hands) THAT's it! That's the one I saw the pics of on the wiki!

For what it's worth, James H. Schmitz's The Telzey Toy uses a similar plot device
