Tekken: Blood Vengeance Pictures now on the Wiki!

Post by Saya » Mon Jan 02, 2012 6:23 am

Hi there! I recently got Tekken: Blood Vengeance to the Wiki, and uploaded a few pictures I took. By a "few", I mean about twenty or so.

The movie it's self is not bad. The ending gets a little hash and the English OVA leaves something to be desired, but it's far and away one of the better movies based on a fighting game around (it's great therapy from the trauma that was the live-action Tekken film), though that hardly means it's going to win an Oscar. A nice little treat if you are a fan of the series.

Simple reply:

Good.
Fellas, you may address me as Boris, my ID could be troublesome for you to call me.
BTW, my stories would be updated without notifications.

I'm assuming there's not much else in the film as far as damage/evidence, but I'll probably find it at some point and watch it anyway. I always do. (I recently watched "Tourist Trap" (1979) again, for instance ... maybe Screamers next ...)

I think my favorite thing about the 3D-rendered T:BV movie is that Alisa is honest-to-goodness artificial. She only exists as a robot – there is no actress who "is" her in real life.

Funny enough, her English voice actress was actually discovered at an anime convention, and (if I remember correctly), she was cosplaying AS Alisa. But I agree completely.

And there is, actually. Alisa does act strangely, and there are a few other scenes where she gets to show off her robotic self (the reason she ends up so damaged in the movie is because right before that, she was ordered to shut down). But I would have to say that it is probably a lot more entertaining to fans of the series. Parts of it might not make sense (like the whole Mishima family drama) if you do not play or know the story of the games.
