Cyborgs?

Post by Sentient6 » Tue Nov 01, 2011 4:33 pm

Just out of curiosity, is anyone around here roughly as into female cyborgs as they are with female robots?

Do you know of any good cyborg related stories on this site or the wiki? I've looked before but couldn't find much.

I haven't checked the wiki for stories in a while. I know there are a few over at the LTBSA site, but most of those are forced conversion stories, which isn't everyone's cup of tea.

Almost certainly some at the EMCSA too, under the rb tag, but they may need some button clicking to find

Thanks guys. It seems the LTBSA site is no longer around though, unless I'm mistaken.

I am into cyborgs, and assuming it is alright with everyone, will probably have some (or something similar) in my stories.

NO! Whatever you put into your stories must conform to the expectations of people you've never met before! :P  (That was me kidding, btw.)

I'm only here for the cyborgs. Wish there was a higher percentage of content involving them.

*sticks up hand*
I've a small preference for 'em. That's assuming you mean FBC flavour 'borgs, and not just people with mechanical replacement limbs/organs or implants :? (although depending on the extent of use of prosthetics that might be nice too). I guess I prefer my robots with digitized/transferred human personalities anyway though, so there's obvious crossover. Have noted a few negative reactions to 'borgs in the past, but forum members' kinks are extremely varied and eclectic, so that doesn't mean much. Rock on.

Hm, come to think of it, csoloist, I have seen you posting pics of "robots" with visibly human brains (not that I'm complaining).

More than a few generally, and FBC is great too.

I will admit. Cyborgs are largely not my thing. Wetware is something that is a big turn off for me, especially if it is exposed and obvious. I do have my exceptions, though. Transferred consciousness is something I do not mind. And, frankly, I find Motoko Kusanagi hot as hell, but I have also heard the argument from a few people that "she is practically a gynoid anyway". I also have to say that I find the sorts of cyborg design you find in Deus Ex: Human Revolution appealing too. I guess it's just because they are more seamless, it looks less like a botched medical procedure. And, well...seeing brains...I won't lie. Stuff like that is a bit ick for me.

That's understandable. However, I'd say Kusinagi still counts as a cyborg, but a great example of one that keeps the wetware to a minimum.
