Cyborg Conquest /Chrome Angles DVD

Post by eyebore » Tue May 18, 2010 2:38 am

For whatever reason, it seams the DVD has been released in Thailand before the US. I found a couple of Ebay options for those in the US and UK. Plus an international site that promises free world-wide shipping, I advise checking the fine print to be certain. Be aware that, while the DVD offers both English and Thai audio versions, it is formatted to the standard DVD format for that part of the world. So have a multiregional player or the ability to convert it.

Good news/bad news time. I'll start with the bad news: it's dubbed in Thai, but the good news is that I think I found this movie online to view for free.

It appears to be in four parts. I'll be checking this out for any good scenes. :-)

EDIT: It looks like Parts 2 and 3 don't work, at least not for me. :-(

I found the whole film to download on a Thai version of megaupload.

Copy and paste (don't click) each of the "saveufile" links. Once you get all ten of them, use WinRAR or a similar program to extract the files. You should get two videos, each of them about half of the movie. Hope this helps you.

I think they are in a format used in Southeast Asia and require a certain type of DVD player.

Sorry to hear that. I don't know much about the distributor, I hope they do right by you. I know its a pain in the butt to deal with regardless the outcome. Good luck

If there's a visible scratch on the disc, it may be reparable, though concentric smears are difficult to fix. If there's no scratch, and it's a recordable, you've got a dodgy burn. It's clearly not a case of "compatibility" since you got the rest of it to read properly.

If you paid via PayPal, and don't mind returning at your expense, I've had near perfect luck in getting money back. Even merchandise marked as "no returns allowed" still needs to show up in the condition they promise, otherwise it's miscategorized, and an easy excuse to return.
