In SOME way I felt a bit lied to..

...Its the old 'film' is done but NOOOO distributor and no you can't download for a fee' routine.

I just wish I can make a film but I can't... <cry>

I'm going to TRY and see it when it comes out on Friday. Hopefully Baron can zoom to the theature and take notes.

Got to skim through 2040 today, will give it a more thorough viewing when time allows - but I think most everyone here will approve!!!

This one is definitely aimed squarely at our little corner of the fetish universe. And it does not disappoint.

You actually get 4 discs worth of stuff (4th disc is a Wicked sampler).

The menu selections alone are erm...stiffening. Seriously. Rows of realdolls hanging from mechanical assemblies made to look like robots in production, including removed faceplates with mechanical internals.

The film itself is excellent, and high quality. Good old Randy Spears is in there and for a guy who's nearly 50 and done over 700 pron films, he looks and sounds TIRED. Just the same though, I hope I look that good when I hit 50! Alektra blue plays the main robot in the film and she does a great job. has great robot mannerisms and a great blank stare. Alexis Texas is in the film briefly as an android who breaks down after Randy blows out her "C-6 chip" and we get to see her Removable Oral Cavity being taken off. Good stuff.

There is lots of random robot and realdoll bits all through the film. LOTS of blank, deactivation/malfunction stares, a little robo-vision, one faceplate removal, and a very nicely done scene of alektra blue being worked on in the lab, thats worthy of anything I've seen in cinema. Any girls out there wanting to see guy-bots, yes. they are in there and there is a scene of one being worked on, as well as them being used by some of the girls in the film.

The extra features include lots of sex scenes that weren't used in the film, inlcuding a 3 way girl and one realdoll sex scene that erm...I had trouble keeping my hands on the keyboard watching.

The special effects film unfortunately only deals with the digital effects and green screen, so we dont get to see how they did the face off (yes its obvious how they did it but just the same would have been nice to see), or the android operation (again obvious but would have been nice).

There is a short feature about how they are making custom realdolls of the actresses in the film, and shows the actresses being scanned (yes its hot, because they look blank), and then castings and such being made of them.

There is lots of galleries, extended scenes, blooper reels, and just a huge plethora of extra features on the DVDs. You even get a digital copy of the film, so you can save it to a machine and take it with you.

Pretty much enough fucking in the film and DVDs for you to enjoy for a while, and plenty of stuff that caters directly to us. The only way you'd lose with this film is if you didn't like sex scenes. Cause there is a LOT.

This is the first fucking X-rated film that was made with US in mind. The opening narration even states in so many words that the film was made with our particular niche in mind.

I'd honestly prefer people weren't GIVING the film away on free sites like rapidshare, torrent, etc. because I'd really like to see our community members pay for the DVDs and show Wicked pictures "Hey we want MORE films like this!"

But, its a community effort and I'm just one small part of the community. My honest and heartfelt advice therefore is: go ahead and buy the DVD. You'll get your money's worth. If you absolutely HAVE to download it first, then you'll do it no matter what I tell you. But I'm asking you, that if you like what you downloaded, BUY THE DVD.

Bottom line: If you don't support the stuff you love, you kill it. Don't kill this film. I'd like to see sequels, rip-offs, or whatever manner of exploitation that X-rated filmmakers want to do in order to capitalize on 2040's success. Why? Because when film studios compete for viewer dollars, WE WIN.

I got my copy today. I watched the first half of the DVD, then had to stop. DAMN.

So far it's just as Kishin describes. Alektra Blue is AMAZING! I want one!

Ok I got to watch the rest........

It's kind of stupid that Hollywood has had a hit-and-miss record in regards to films with ASFR content, yet a porn flick like 2040 comes out and hits the nail right on the head. Maybe "real" film studios could learn a thing or two from this....

Yes, itÂ´s a great movie but unfortunately it is a adult film... i donÂ´t like asfr action in adult films. But i never give up the hope-maybe someone produced a real scifi film in the quality like 2040...

well i just recieved my copy today and i must say was well worth the money and thank you to kishin for the great review or i never would have purchased this incredible video so thanks again.. i also suggest others who have not purchased to really concider to help support more films like this

I bought and downloaded it, and started to watch, but (don't hate me) I really don't get anything out of the same old pr0n scenes so I found myself flipping through it looking for something that looked like genuine ASFR content. I fully admit, I didn't try very hard and quickly gave up.

If anyone can recommend scenes (with time indices) for me to check out, I will, otherwise I think this one is going to collect dust on my hard drive.

P.S. To make matters worse, I don't think the download gives you any of the extras you'd get on the DVD, which is really disappointing. Unless I'm missing something? I didn't want a package to be sent to my house so I went the download route.

Actually, EXILE was available a couple of months prior to these posts. The director DVD has been available from the midnightsun website, since July, 09.
