Another Vimeo Find: "Lovebot"
Showing once again that YouTube is a dinosaur, and that the internet moves way the hell too fast these days, Vimeo proves that it is the place to go to find interesting, well-shot indie film. And they do seem to have a hell of a lot more films that cater to our interests, don't they? Anyway, here's a new one. Brand new. As in today-new.

Beautiful L.A. locations, great cast, killer production. This has to be my favorite I've seen in a long time, even if it's way too short. It feels like it was put together very quickly, but not without care. Anyway, I'm very happy to have found anything new even approaching this quality. (And on Bloomsday, when I am full of Guinness and therefore much more agreeable towards all internet videos.)

Very nice!
I was especially intrigued at the end, when "Sarah II" presents Adrian with her drawing. Will AI ever become creative? I always enjoy thought-provoking SF, and this was a fun little short film.
Thanks for posting!

Very well-done. I feel sad for the first robot, though.

Anyone care to share their speculation on what exactly happened to Eve (Briga Heelan)?
I'm guessing she fell too, in which case those are some murderous stairs.

I don't know.
If my SO would die because of some stupid stair, after the grief I would enjoy DESTROYING them with my bare hands piece by piece.
And then move to a same-floor apartment.
Just sayin' xD
