The important part is in the quotes for those who don't want to click.

"The trade adds that the studio would only say the film centers on an electronics designer who meets the woman of his dreams, only to find out that she's not who she seems to be."

Chances are it'll be a big screen version of Chuck with our luck though.

But man oh man, Katherine Heigl would make one sweet looking droid!

Just thought of some other similarly themed instances...

La Ragazza Di Latta - girl of his dreams is a robot
The Perfect Woman - girl of his dreams poses as a robot, but he is actually the robot
Hymie and Octavia from Get Smart - they are both robots, one positive, one negative

And there's Automatic, where Nora slowly becomes attracted to a robot, and then finds out she's one as well.

Or Solar Crisis where a guy falls in love with a girl, then finds out she's a robot but doesn't know it.

Or the Outer Limits episode "Glitch" where a woman poses as the wife of a robot who thinks he's human and in the end find out they are both robots.

Lots of twists that have been done over and over. Still, I don't mind seeing more examples!

The one in that film is more of a genetic construct than an actual robot.

Oh,it hurts every time this is pointed out about Solar Crisis.
