Fembot Wiki -- New Articles...

Post by TheSpotConlon » Tue Mar 03, 2009 10:13 pm

Just completed a quick and dirty article about the film Steel and Lace, which I've had in my collection for some time but have not had the chance to view until this week. Good piece, and I'm surprised it hasn't been talked up more in the community. Will try to get more screengrabs off my busted VHS copy in the next few days, but until then I've got the article underway:

Should have something done on Eve of Destruction soon, as well as some expansion of the smaller articles.[/i]

I'll always remember the "I'll let you go in a minute" line while she was riding
one victim. Makes me wonder about what her creator put together down below,CodeAuthor ? :)

I picked it up off of eBay, actually, and completely by chance. It was part of a liquidation sale that a video store was having, and it was thrown in on a "grab bag" of out-of-print VHS titles. No other robot movies, but I did get one of Pierce Brosnan's first starring roles, a couple of forgotten Nightmare on Elm Street rip-offs, and a seriously racist zombie movie starring Nichelle Nichols and Levar Burton. I tell ya, some of this stuff will never make it on to DVD or Blu-Ray, and in some cases we're better off.

I'm gonna try to get some screen-caps done, but I don't know how well they'll turn out, as the tape is not in the best condition. Same with anything going up on YouTube, but we'll see what I can do.
