Possible fembot villain on Power Rangers RPM

Post by DukeNukem 2417 » Sat Dec 20, 2008 11:18 am

If the new Power Rangers follows the Super Sentai that it's based on, the female villain on RPM will be a fembot. "And how do you know that the Super Sentai had a fembot villain," you ask? My brother was watching an episode of Go-Onger (the Super Sentai on which RPM is based) in which the Green Ranger shot the lead female villain in the arm, creating a hole that showed wires and circuitry inside of it.

It's just a hunch, but hopefully RPM will actually keep the female villain as a fembot and not make her something completely different from the Sentai.

There's a lot in that series and I hate to try to have to get them ALL to find it.

Here are the YouTube links for Go-onger episode 4 (I was mistaken)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BOo7nrMOwH8 (part 1)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xAzfg8sPgS8 (part 2)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i7V3ctC1_Ts (part 3)

The main parts are in late part 1 and either late part 2/early part 3

Nice work, captbcn.

I think the R.P.M. version of this character is named "Vengix" or something along those lines; see if you can discern for yourself by following this link:

http://junglefury.powerrangersgateway.com/news/147/

and listening to the four R.P.M. demo theme songs.

害水大臣ケガレシア

The character's name is "Lady of Water Pollution, Kegarecia" or thereabouts.
Thought she was pretty hot, and a check to find the name above
also yielded the actress name, Nao Oikawa, one of the hottest
(now retired) Japanese AV stars, now working her way up
the legitimate entertainment ladder.

I'd take a robo-Nao any day! In fact she kinda played a gynoid in an AV, doing a cos-play as a female Atom Boy and describing what happened is NSFW, but it wasn't very ASFR-ey, though the costume and body paint were good.

Another great bit of info. Thanks, andoroido.

OMG, that was HER?

I'm just in awe over the fact that a former porn star is doing a Sentai show. That's just not something you'd see in America.

OK, Xuxa, but she doesn't quite count.

Didn't they use several porn actresses as the bad girls in some early 90's sentai ? The one with the long blonde or silver hair comes to mind.

I know from "research" that other Japanese porn stars have done super sentai; none come to mind immediately, though.

Apparently, Disney has decided to use a malevolent computer system named Vengix as the lead villain in Power Rangers R.P.M.; they might still keep the female android character in (I hope they do).

Interesting bit of trivia---in Power Rangers: Operation Overdrive, Mac (the Red Ranger) finds out he's actually an android (sorry, but the statute on spoilers expired last year) confronts his "father" and demands an explanation. "Dad" says that with all his adventuring, he never had time to find a wife, to which Mac angrily repiles "Then why didn't you just build yourself one of those too?!" THAT would have been interesting, in my personal opinion......

Saw the promo reccently. That "Tenaya 7" character is probably the US version of the gynoid villainess from the sentai version; glad they ditched the whole "valve on her head" outfit.

Okay, this will be my last post on this thread for a few reasons.

1.) Power Rangers RPM is OFFICIALLY the last live-action season of Power Rangers. See these two links for more info: http://www.nzherald.co.nz/entertainment ... d=10560372 http://linearranger.com/RPMNews/NewsFuture.htm

2.) I've decided to devote my time to other topics. Yes, we all grew up watching Power rangers since its first incarnation (at least I did), but now that Disney has chosen to kill off their most profitable franchise that I actually give a damn about in favor of more shit-tastic High School Musical films, I'm not giving those assholes another minute of my time.

The first two episodes of RPM premiere today on ABC Kids, so sit back and enjoy them, 'cuz they're the last live-action Power Rangers series we're likely to see in a long, long time.

[awkward pause]

DAMN YOU DISNEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

.........and in the background, a skulking AL KAHN hides in the shadows while Disney wipes their hands of the cosmic debris...... waiting oh so patiently for Disney to leave the franchise twitching on the cold, cold ground so that he may pick up the pieces for THE CW 4 KIDS ..... ----SOMETHING has to be paired with KAMEN RIDER......SOMETHING! -- minkwheel

I don't know why I want to respond to this thread, but as one of the few (as I hope to God I am) who watched the American Power Rangers series from beginning to end, I should. Let's be honest, classic Series like this are no longer bringing in the American fans like it used to, moreover let's be honest this series had become a bunch of one-season wonders, anyway. Admittedly, there were some episodes of interest for us (Power Rangers Turbo - The Robot Rangers ep, and the second half of Power Rangers in Space; the upgraded Astronoma for instance). But, this series could not keep up with one of the three key Disney rules.

1. MAKE MONEY FOR THE MOUSE OR DIE.

That's why ABC (Disney's bi**h) cancelled two successful franchises (Dirty Sexy Money and Pushing Daisies) before second seasons even begun.

And to the person, who thinks 4Kids TV is the best place for the Power Rangers series, let me give one reason it won't work.

It wouldn't be cost effective, considering that CW11 is looking to shrink is Saturday cartoon block to three hours. Even though a combination to show, Yu-gi-oh 5D's, Power Rangers RPM, Kamen Rider would be an improvement to that crapfest, they currently have.

Hi! -- Even the folks that PRODUCE the show feel that a five year absence would generate more interest when it came back.......The show had an AMAZING run, not time for to DIE, but just time for it to rest for a little while so that when it came back, it could follow a fresh direction with a new generation of core fans. I actually feel sorry for the production teams in New Zealand, because I've BEEN there....the people are WONDERFULLY KIND, and the land is quite beautiful. I only saw 4Kids as one of the only outlets for POWER RANGERS kind of entertainment, because the slate for network toonage is EXTREMELY LIMITED NOW.... all is being relegated to CARTOON NETWORK and NICKELODEON. ----I COUNTED OUT ABC a while ago when they just started showing DISNEY CHANNEL stuff..... it's a COP OUT, and a disservice to the imaginations of kids and artists everywhere. I know.... SOME folks don't have CABLE, so to them, the shows are NEW... but it really was just a cost cutting measure, as it was with all other networks. I actually am glad that I grew up in the coolest generation.... I saw so many things that are considered CLASSIC now, when they were FIRST RUN....I'm 45, and when I was a kid, seeing these shows made me want to be a part of the magic that cartoons bring to a child.........and I DID something about that. My dream came true because I worked hard at it.... and POWER RANGERS has inspired a GENERATION too.......like it or not, it has. (I've met some of the stars of several shows, and they were nothing but gracious, kind, and thankful for the series) -- much like the way that a FOOTBALL hero used to be..... Nowadays it's all about the DEAL, --and that is pretty sad. I'd actually WANT to see some of the kids that grew up with Power Rangers get to work on a NEW incarnation....this would bring the energy and creativity back.....and a new generation of kids will see it, and be inspired just like the old days.........I hope so. Have to enjoy the show while it lasts. ===minkwheel

Well it took a couple of episodes to get things started, but here is the middle part of episode 4 which shows off the Tenaya 7 character:
