DOLL HOUSE (NEW TV SHOW)
Hey Fellow ASFRians!!!
Was watching American idol try outs (just to the dummies who can't sing) with family, & saw an advertisement for a NEW show called....... DOLLHOUSE the lead female is a girl that came become ANYTHING ie school girl, sinner, saint, & after her mission is Earse orr reprogrammed!! Looks eh...ok the female Lead is reconizableI've seen her in moives, just can' rember her. To me this is a ALIAS/ MY WORST Enemy rip off. Just though who knows could be good but knowing Hollywood it'll most likely suck, I'll give it a bite & let you know more as I watch it. your ol Pal PETE#69

Wikipedia's page on it offers some more description and, more importantly, many reference links.
Unfortunately the premise implies that the "dolls" are people, clones, or otherwise organic. As far-fetched as the notion of a machine that can seem like a person is, I think it's more absurd to think there is a way to successfully erase and "reprogram" a personality into a real person -- it just seems like the recipe for making a brain-dead human.

Right.
I've read a far bit about the production of the show.
If I'm not mistaken, the Dolls are "mindwiped" humans that either choose to or are forced to become blank slates (I think that's part of the mystery of the show).
Most of them are wiped squeaky clean of their original personalities, and are completely zoned out when not in use, but Echo is a "Doll" that's "active" or retains some of the memories of her former self, even when not in use, which is what sets the plot in motion.
The premise seems interesting and the producers have made it a point that the tone of this series is way darker than previous Whedon shows. From what I've read so far, seems to have Zero Gynoid content, so don't watch it looking for that.

Questions
1. For someone who hasnt seen any of the series so far (living in wrong country), is it worth trying to watch this when I'm there the week after next?
2. Critical to 1, will it still be on when I get to the US the week after next?
3. And if the answer to both is yes, at what time, and on what channel will I find it. (Eastern time zone)
Thanks
