Stop by your local comic shop [or other manga supplier] today for volume one of Angelic Layer by CLAMP. This is sort of a girlie story with doll-sized fembots which children own and get to make battle eachother. I'll let you know more once I get my copy.

Another CLAMP story. That's cool. I've heard good things about Angelic Layer. Have you heard anything about the release date?

Heh. ^_^;; Alright. I saw it in a bookstore today. The cover price is $10 and it looks like Waldenbooks is sticking to it. I took a look at it and it looked okay (the artwork was pretty funny but the story didn't appeal to me very much). Also, the angels were little more than mentally-controlled dolls. No AI at all and there were only a couple of shots that showed mechanical parts (before the owner got it some clothes). IMHO, my money would be better spent on vol 2 of the Chobits manga or on the Chobits anime when it's eventually released here.
