Just grabbed this tidbit off of Aint it Cool News. Not familiar with the story but it could be promissing.

Radha Mitchell and Rosamund Pike join Willis in THE SURROGATES! Hot robots?

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Jonathan Mostow's new flick is called THE SURROGATES, based on a graphic novel of the same name by Robert Venditti. The story is set sometime in the near future where humans no longer interact personally. Every bit of human interaction is done via surrogate robots who are better looking than the person controlling them.

Which is why they've cast Radha Mitchell and Rosamund Pike, one would assume. I doubt they're going to be playing the "ugly regular people." Hot robots, baby.

Bruce Willis is already attached to star and shooting begins this month!.

Nah, they won't be holograms... They'll just be paid actors hired to impersonate other people.

I mean in the story, although the above statement will be literally true.

In retrospect, this joke isn't really all that funny. Oh well, laugh anyway.

I've checked "Surrogates" today and found some nice new information about this movie.

1. The cast is updated and there's one character named "Beautiful Surrogate" played by Anya Monzikova... Just have a look at her...
