Beauty Show, The $1.98
[M][A] - The premise of the show is to have ordinary house wives come on and compete in a mock beauty pageant. One lady sticks out in my mind first of all because she was very beautiful, but secondly she did a fabulous robot mime routine to Donna Summers song "Last Dance". Needless to say she won and collected her $1.98 from Rip Taylor at the end of the show. Her routine started with a very nice freeze that lasts about 10 seconds and ends with her frozen as well.

That's a copy&paste of a post I made to the ASFR Master List years and years ago. Well thanks to a little bit of random luck, I found this clip on youtube. It is really poor quality but you should get the gist of it.

I obviously remembered it wrong as she was not posed/frozen at the beginning or end of the routine, but this was from the late 70's and I was 5 or 6 at most so...

Also of note, anyone who has watched Galaxina (and who here hasn't?) might notice that this is Rhonda Shear (Up All Night) from the space brothel scene where she did a great turn as a robot/mime.

I also found another clip I had been looking for. Cory Everson from the 1986 Ms. Olympia. This one was quite a bit shorter than I remembered. You only really need to watch the first minute of the clip to see it.

I've just seen that short film, and it's not badly done. Well worth viewing if you can. Oh by the way, ignore the 'transmittion' screen and beep at the begining it worked ok
