If you could redesign your body...

Post by Outsider » Tue Aug 19, 2008 12:29 pm

What might you want? I'm going to offer a few of my own thoughts.

As an organic human:

The ability to bear a baby with another woman.

As a cyborg:

An armored black box capable of recording my personality and memories, and which can be installed in a robotic body if something happens to this one, but which can't be read by outsiders.

As an android:

Ibid. Autonomy, natural appearance, high performance, low maintenance.

As an organic human.

The body of a cute 20 year old female, redhead or blonde, curvy, but not large, and the confidence to use it well.

Robot/Cyborg

Given my gammy knees, and 1 weak wrist I'd have to say a much strengthened body, but look similar to above. Silver hue if possible would be nice.

Oh alright, I'd love the Maria/Hel look, but its hardly practical for everyday happenings, is it?
I'm just a 'girl' who wants to become a fembot whats wrong with that?

As a human:
Pull myself together, do more sports and less sitting in front of the computer all the time. Have no diabetes anymore.

As a cyborg:
Get insuline pump because of the diabetes, get computer-brain interface to use the computer more efficiently!

As a robot:
Hmm, I would not care, because I'd do whatever I was being told to. (Oh, and compute a cure for diabetes as background process  )

Wow, that was unusually personal. Note to myself: Don't drink and post.

Human - To be thin again, but I am working on that.

Android - Blue hair, flexibility, being able to plug straight into things and a kick ass martial arts program. Think Alita.

Cyborg - Think Motoko Kusanagi / Aramaki from Ghost in the Shell.

Human - Rejuvenation, fix some obvious shortcomings like shortsightedness

Cyborg - good looking fembot body... yes I would switch gender for that

Android - as above plus increased mind capacity, plus a backup system with spare bodies for immortality

As an organic human:
Eh, a few alterations maybe... Stronger chin, abs of steel - the usual junk.

As a cyborg:
Hmmm... Humanoid iPod, let's call it an iBod. Or, maybe...

Totally down for that.

As an android:
Something very botty so I can scare people racing about the place squawking "ex-ter-mi-nate, ex-ter-mi-nate". Must also be able to play video games on myself.

Organic? Hell, I'll be the Balrog from the Lord of the Rings movies. That would rule and I'd scare the hell out of everyone. :D

Cyborg? GALACTUS!!! (His suit keeps him from turning into a giant star so I don't know if that qualifies)

Android? I had better have a penis so that I can get me some gynoid. Brainiac?

As an organic male: Me. I assume there was a reason I picked this.

As an organic girl: Cat ears and a tail. Voluptous, but atheletic with highly evolved muscles. At least a village of similar species to go along... it would be kinda sad to be the only catgirl in the world.

As a cyborg: Those quasi-magical mind-computer interfaces that make you a super hacker would be nice. While we're at it, a device to carefully monitor caloric intake and another to stimulate muscle groups, so I don't have to use as much time exercising or as much concern dieting, and/or what time I do spend is to the best effect. Ooh! How about a carbon scrubber and oxygen bottle to improve endurance? All of this has to fit inside the human form; no tubes breaking the skin please. And low-maintenance!

As a robot: The mind boggles. Cute is important; why be Robocop if you can be a cute robot girl? Most critical would be integrity; a mind that could resist malfunctioning, instead of disappear as soon as something untoward happens. Some kind of external indication that this is not a human is good too, but still mostly human (like anime's popular one-ear replaced with an antanna). Stronger than a human, but with vulnerabilities that can only be covered by a partner (and aware; possibly embarassed by those vulnerabilities). Abandoned by the military and picked up by a black-haired warrior girl who doesn't even like robots, but slowly grows feelings in spite of herself as they struggle against the weight of an oppressive empire! ... *ahem* ... what was the question?

Oh, this is fun! A chance to imagine the ideal me...

As an organic:
I wouldn't change much. I may not be Superman, but this body works just fine. Perhaps improved vision in my left eye for better depth perception, but that's about it.

Cyborg:
The full GitS package - human appearance, but with various useful gizmos, like a wireless card, enhanced artificial muscles, and maybe a built-in toolkit, just in case I ever need to fix anything.

Full-on robot:
Heh. Read my profile - I'm a Transformers fan. I can imagine driving around town as a high-end street machine - maybe a black or metallic-blue Charger with racing stripes - then transforming into a thirty-foot-tall giant robot. That would get the neighbors talking! Plus, chicks dig hot cars....

Oh gosh... I believe I'd have several different bodies actually. At least three.

One in the style of my organic body when I wanted to revisit who I was.
One in the style of WinterRose the Gynoid
One which incorporates the best sexual aspects of both human genders. (IE: Breasts, Vagina, Penis, etc...)

That's all for now really. Specific mods will come later. I'll have time after all.
