Kids... this is a Bruce Campbell movie that I stumbled upon mid-film --MAN WITH THE SCREAMING BRAIN, I believe it was called... starred Bruce Campbell, Ted Raimi, Stacey Keach.... a parody of Mad Scientist flicks filmed in Bulgaria in the 90's. Low budget fun, and yes, there is a fembot involved ... Bruce Campbell's wife's brain is placed in a mannequin-ish android ...lots of jerky movements (like Shields and Yarnell) some low budget panel shots and robovision... Saw this on the SciFi Channel at 4am a few days ago, but came into it at it's mid-point.... just an odd find for me as I was getting ready for work....thought I'd see if anyone else had seen the movie. --minkwheel

Seen this flick, and I hate to rain down on a parade, but the fembot is a person of the male persuasion apparently.

I had the honor of meeting Bruce Campbell when he premiered this movie at an arthouse theater here in Houston. I got to ask him a few questions and he was an amazing wit! I highly recommend meeting him in person if you ever get the chance. Yeah, I mentioned the fembot content a while back after seeing the movie and also the fact that it wasn't exactly worth seeing for that reason. It really is a dude in the costume and NO there is nothing sexy about it, but it's funny as hell. Good movement, though, but it's a shame it couldn't have been a babe playing the part. You might want to get the comic book version of the movie instead if that's what you are after. Regardless, it was a very low budget movie but a lot of fun especially seeing it on the big screen with The Man himself there and an audience full of fans.
