There we go! Someone fucking gets it! This show really isn't good. It isn't. It employs Brian Austin Green, for chrissake. There are some bright spots in the action and Lena Headey and Summer Glau and all that jazz, but it doesn't grab me like I was hoping it would.Aww, but think of how it forwards the cause! Cameron is the robot that America wants to fuck.
Still, I continue to leave it on. Why, you may ask? First off, I'm a Nielsen Household, so whatever I watch stays on the air. Secondly, Hollywood spawns imitation. Whatever's popular one day will be copied the next, continued either through thematic interpretation or direct ripping-off. You know what Fox is going to see when Terminator continues to do well in the ratings?
Dollar signs. Dollar signs attached to hot robot girls.
So roll your eyes if you must, even point out the massive inadequacies of the show, but we owe it to the cause to keep this show on the air. Cowboy up, or we're going to be stuck with bad porn actresses cocking their arms at an angle and marching around apartments in Malibu until the end of time.

Did I miss something in one of the episodes, or can I make an assumption here. When the uncle character (Derrick, is it?)first sees Cameron in the future he knows immediately that she's "one of them". Did he come across her before? I don't remember seeing that. Unless she was the unseen torturer/interrogator. Possible?

My bet is that Cameron is a double agent, don't forget that those machines could learn and adopt a behavior of their own, and that will lead to a twisted end, I'm sure, because:
1) Don't forget the processor chip she preserved from the burn of the terminated robot, and the metal bar she preserved from the truck's plunge. I'm telling you, she's not clean and got a hidden agenda.
2) It seems also that Cam lived and interacted among humans like no other machines did before her, cumulating precious informations about them and more precisely about how John is thinking, and that could fall into wrong machine hands at one point.
3) Unless I missed something, we don't know how Cam got caught and reprogrammed. It's leaving a large gap for speculations my friends...

Too easy. Better to get to know your enemy to knock him down better later, him and all his friends...Borias wrote:Yeah, but a double agent for what? If she wanted to kill John all she'd have to do is reach across the breakfast table and jab him in the throat with her pancake fork.
If we ever get the confirmation about who sent her back through time (the machines or the humans) from a reliable source, that may confirm a couple of things.
But for now, I don't trust her, especially when she let her ballet teacher get killed this way. Informations, that's all she wants to pick up, and she need to keep John alive to collect more.

Spoilers in case you haven't watched all but the season finale!!
I'm certain she was a part of the "basement" in the future, and that her basement ballerina thing was Cameron after she helps Conner (i.e. there are 2 of her in the future, the younger one helping Connor and the older one in the basement).
The real question is what was she doing in the future? Why did her apocolyptic ballerina self capture those people, torture them, then free them? Remember, they were given an axe to free themselves. Since most of his "home" was destroyed during his capture, were Reese and the others being saved? Or is the older Cameron a third party (not SkyNet or human resistance), an insane Cyborg seeking a ballerina audience?
Who knows, like others have said, there are too many possibilities, and not enough firm info. My current theory, subject to significant change, is that she is learning from humans, and she survives into the future and plays some kinda 5th column, most likely for the human side since she could blend in better with the Cyborgs.
Anyone figure out what was with all the jet engines getting carried aroung?

Yep leave things open
Thats the new way to do thingsin TV. Leave more questions then answers with lots of twist you might or might not of seen comming. Just hope they dont end up one twist to many or hint at something to end totally writing it off has nothing. Like when they showed Maulder sister on X-files was Dead when His whole reason for believing in xfiles was he thought his sister was alien abducted. this started with X-files and has been done most recently in searies like lost. But lets hope it gets to answer all these questions and doesnt get cancelled.
