Yep... Katy was special to the Doc... Katy even had more clothes than the others......but Dr. Franklin was a Chauvanist... ---HE WOULDN'T HAVE BUILT MORE KATYs to continue his plans... he built a replica of what he thought his SON would look like to continue his wrath... a creation in his OWN image sorta.... I've always read into the fact that he wanted extra funds from the Baron and his cronies was so that he could finish building Carl in case he was captured or died.... Carl had to have been built before Franklin was put in jail by the OSI after KILL OSCAR.... CARL'S STORY arc happens just a little over a YEAR after the events in KILL OSCAR going by first run AIR DATES ... so Franklin only serves about one year in jail... getting "visits' from his 'SON" ----------there are plot holes that are pretty HUGE in these stories, but I STILL think that KILL OSCAR was one of the BEST SciFi stories ever done for broadcast television... despite the plotholes --minkwheel

Haven't seen ANY of the New Bionic Woman, being over in Old Blighty, but Michelle Ryan (that's her name, right?) is on Friday Night With Jonathan Ross this coming Friday for any UK-ers. Probably just promoting the first season on the BBC or something.

HANDWRITING'S almost on the wall for the show... but they WERE going to try ONE MORE RETOOLING... because of the writer's strike, the show got a bit of a raw deal... so if they retool it and listen to a few fans... they may go the "movie route" much like they did with KNIGHT RIDER ... so this means we may get a special movie featuring A RETELLING of the famous FEMBOTS episodes....... one can only hope. NBC SERIOUSLY NEEDS SOME HITS now. ---minkwheel

Wolud be great, if the show was not canceled. Bionic Woman Remake wasn't that hit-making after one season.

Katy was always my favorite as well .... hence the reason why I created Janice Whitby's website.

As for the Bionic Woman remake, IMO it sucked on all level and was produced by David Eick (who on more than several occasions publicaly slammed the original series and boasted how his grand re-invention was oh so far superior). There was no plans for fembots in the remake because he thought they were ridiculous.
