2 new shows coming in early October with gynoids.

So far Cutey Honey didn't really count as ASFR for me. She's supposed to be an android, but it was always more like a clone/replicant copy of the scientist's dead daughter with almost no evidence that she's an android. This time they seem to be at least pushing her android-ness as far as personality or naivete, meanwhile her rival (who I think IS human) is supposed to be so cold and calculating that she will seem even more like an android than Cutey Honey, maybe there will be some gynoid-ey stuff over the maybe 24 episodes? She's easy on the eyes anyway, so I think I can force myself to watch.

Other is Magister Negi Magi, based on a popular manga, it seems

looks like a typical manga/anime story of one guy(or maybe girl) amongst a virtual harem of girls of all (stereo)types

Less potential here, there is a the HUGE cast of girls, but one (the one labelled #10 in the character profiles) is supposed to be an android. Hope she's a main character, or at least gets a gynoid-centered episode or two.

Plus a bit of ASFR trivia, one of the teachers at the school will be played by Nao Oikawa, who is an AV (porn) actress, who has been trying to break out in late nite drama/comedy TV roles. She played a gynoid version of Atom Boy in an AV, but it sucked.

I read Negima! Pretty frequently.

The way it usually works is each Story Arc focuses on a group of charas, then in between story arcs there will be "mini-stories" that, again, focus on 2 or so people + Negi.

Chacha herself doesn't frequently show android traits (Besides her obvious appearance) but shes occaisionally repaired and malfunctions in one volume (Not critically, but a malfunction nonetheless.)

Still though, Negima is a realy good read, and most of the characters are easy to like. (Especially Nodoka <3)

The person playing Haruna is pretty (girl in glasses far right), but Iunno how they'll do characters like Evangeline (European) or Chacha (green hair, opbious body lines all over her body) or...Ah, I can never remember his name, but he's a talking ferret.

Seems like a mystery to me.

Edit: Got to see Chacha, the person playing her is cute, but theres none of her bodylines (That Chacha is COVERED in in the manga), and Evangeline is supposed to have the body of a 12 year old. Theres a few other inconsistencies I noticed, but its not like they can get everything down to the smallest detail right, eh?

Well, the first episodes have aired.

Magister Negi Magi didn't feature the gynoid character at all this week. Only good news is she appears in the opening title sequence with everyone else, and the whole thing is freeze. Looks like live freezes of every character in various action poses.

Cutey Honey - The Live DOES have some hope after all. The opening sequence features a close-up of Honey's head and shoulders, with a gap at the neck full of mechanical and electronic bits, which are then concealed by her collar/choker thingy, then she wakes up. The opening is on youtube, too lazy to link now.

Also, it seemed that one of the random masked minions who got his arm accidentally sliced off had some sparks, as if the minion was an android. But it was a really quick scene. If ALL the minions are androids, maybe some gynoids will appear.

But I guess we all know by now not to get too hopeful.

I assume the Negi Magi opening will be up on youtube as well.

Last year's Sakura #2 meritted complete vidcap and upload, and it was only 8 episodes. These series will not, and might last 24 episodes or so, way too long, but maybe relevant scenes night be capped, if any.

With Cuite Honey-The Live, there might be some hope for ASFR.

In the live action movie, Honey did have two shutdown scenes. When Colbat Claw tried to take her choker, she fried Colbalt Claw and collapsed wearing only her underwear. Hayami pushed down on the heart choker to reset Honey and it closed it up and Honey woke up later in Nat-chan's apartment. The second shutdwon(or close to it) was during the fight with Black Claw. The heart on the choker was open and there was a lot of beeping coming from the choker, while Honey was fighting.

She might not ACT like an android or robot, but it doesn't mean she doesn't have the problems that go with being a robot. That heart on the choker could be an on/off switch for Honey. Since she is pushing down on it, it doesn't shut her off. But if someone else pushes down on the heart on the choker, it could turn her off.

Go Nagai is a pervert and who knows what will come from his mind.

I'm with andoroido. I have high hopes for ASFR japan. Tryin' to get my hopes up for this one tho. Many things ASFR from Japan comes with some great teaser bits but then fall off.

Week 2 report.

Negi Magi had one brief scene with the robo-girl. They do have whirring sound effects when she walks, she said a few lines in a normal voice to another student. Not worth staying up late for. Just hoping for a gynoid-centerred episode.

Cutey Honey had no gynoid-ey scenes, unless you count her ability to recite pi in math class, though the cliffhanger fight has her getting her ass kicked by Panther Claw and begging him to stop. Next week's preview had no hints about gynoid-ness, just that her costume next week will be as a nurse. Her main schoolgirl nemesis still hasn't shown up yet.
Again nothing worth ASFR attention, yet.

Cutey Honey still had nothing big, anther scene of CH getting scratched up a bit, which draws red blood, then she heals instantly by touching her collar thing.
Last eipsode was apparently about how Panther Claw makes its minions, by some evil doctor injecting patients with a cure-all, which heals their muscular injuries, then makes them super-strong for a while, and then the super-strength goes haywire and they pass out and get abdcuted by minions.
Looks like it's probably some kind of nanite mix, as one victim was a pitcher, who THREW HIS OWN ARM OFF when the super strength overloaded, but no blood, just grey/black particles coming off the stump. Thus nanites?

Yeah, Negima! Follows that format, I think the Chachamaru (thats her name, btw) oriented epis are the second story arc (shared by Evangeline McDowell), then after the...3rd story arc, I believe.

over all, not much ASFR content, but still, I think its a very nice, funny manga. Definitely worth watching/reading even without ASFR. Though she does malfunction at one point (sort of, no sparks or anything, but she overheats and starts repeating syllables) after the 2nd story arc.

1st story arc is about going to this mystic library
2nd story arc is a trip to Kyoto where they meet my fave chara, Kotaro, and getting attacked by a secondary magic faction
3rd story arc is a fighting tournament, where the other faction attacks Negi.

This week's roundup.

Nothing at all with Negima.

Cutey Honey, not much good this week, but good news for the future. Honey's likely future enemy/rival/sister(?) was finally introduced, the brooding, unemotional (and quite hot) girl.
One cross-cut scene where Honey is reciting the square root of 2 in class, while brooding girl does the exact same thing in her reform school/prison class. Either she's a genius or an android, too.
Subplot about evil new prison warden and henchmen who torutre and kill yields the reveal, when brooding girl sprouts a small metallic button/symbol on her breastbone and whispers "honey flash" and turns into a blue version of Cutey Honey.. except nothing "cute" with her, she actually kills the bad guys, and takes a swing at the innocent victims too, saying " Get out of here, I don't know what I'm gonna do." In the end she's breaking the bad guys' necks and using snappy cold one-liners. Should we call her Blue Honey? Berserker Honey?

Seems like there must be some relation to Cutey Honey, maybe she was the prototype that "went bad" or "had no heart" or something. She doesn't actually seem "evil", but just cold, and acting purely out of self-interest.

Anyway, we know she's a robot too.

But no actual gynoid action yet.

Misty Honey is probably the name of the other android girl.

This comes form the anime series Cutey Honey F.

If the show holds true to form then Cutey Honey and Misty Honey will merge into one being later to fight the big baddie

Progress report on Cutey Honey - The Live
and
Mahou Sensei Negima!

Gynoid-ness increasing slightly but nothing blatant yet, But reason to believe this upward trend will continue.
Cutey Honey has 2 "sisters" in this version, the aforementioned cold blue (Spade) Honey, Miki is actually an ally, but just not very nice, and white (Diamond) Honey, Yuki, is too nice, but kicks ass when she Flashes into Honey mode. Are they all androids? Or some kind of bio-roids? blue honey definitely has red blood, but also had metal weapons sprouting out of her at times (common theme with the villains, too, biomechanical weapons sprouting/being ripped out)

Of course we're all still waiting to see if honey's head is detachable as the opening titles show.

More importantly, both shows are popular enough that the raw versions (no subtitles) are torrented, found them (using the titles above) on a site called d-addicts.com (d for "drama", meaning live action TV shows) in their torrent forum.
The torrents are much higer quality than my crappy vidcap, and much less effort for me!

Anyone who wants the raw version of the cyber-maids clip that popped up on youtube should torrent episode 6 of cutey honey

The torrent came in and Mahou Sensei Negima episode 16 IS the one we were waiting for with Chachamaru, the gynoid-centered episode.

A quick watch shows that basically her memory is too full or something, and she's starting to overheat more and more. The solution is just to wipe her memory, but this time she asks her repairgirl, "Is there another way?" Apparently she doesn't want to forget Negi's kindness or something.

Then she malfunctions and has a dream that she's real. I think she looks much better as a human without the makeup and blue contacts and green hair.

In the end the problem is solved by backing up he memory onto disk and then deleting it, so she can still see it on the backup computer, without the memory overflow-overheat problem, I think.

Her body is all armor-type plastic, plates and such. In this episode we see it, but no open panels.

And the actress is 19 (maybe 18 at filming) so no worries.
