Transformers 2007 movie Arcee!

Post by DukeNukem 2417 » Sat Oct 13, 2007 6:58 am

Just got a figure of what Arcee (the female Autobot that turns into a motorcycle) would have looked like in the reccent Transformers movie. It's based off of the concept art at this site:

I don't know which is more disturbing: The robot designs that were used, or the ones that weren't. Check out the early sketch of Megatron, for instance. Very clean, very reminiscent of the G1 design.

Then someone in the chain of command said, "No, I'd like it to look more like a pile of broken glass."

On the other hand, I'm pleasantly surprised that the "Septicon Warrior" design wasn't used. Optimus Prime would be spinning in his Ark.

No, if you're looking for a good Arcee figure, do a search for "Cyberfembot ARC". A design group called Rabid Squirrel Productions made a fully poseable, show-accurate, transforming Headmaster Arcee design. It is completely awesome, but in very short supply, since so few were made. They pop up on ebay from time to time, though.

I think this looks like newer LEGO "robot" toys. Lot of useless flat surfaces without knobs to attach something there. Both are betraying the idea of a "transformable" figure/toy in my eyes.

Hmmm. Maybe there are LEGO stop motion pictures with *home-brewn* transformers out there. ^^;

Kind regards

UUUh, Transformers broke $700 MILLION just a day or 2 ago, that many people can't be wrong! Seriously, I WAS a 'hater', but I'm buying the dvd next tuesday. Seriously, rent it or hit the dollar shows! Chances are, you'll love it! As for the lego Transformers ... :lol: hit Youtube, try ... 'lego transformers'. Have fun!

One last thing:

Note that I said the figure represented Arcee as what she WOULD HAVE LOOKED LIKE IF SHE WAS ACTUALLY IN THE FILM. Translation: [SHE'S NOT IN THE FILM!!!!!!!!!] :shock: And in my opinion, the concept art forr Arcee looked pretty good. I mean, at least Uwe Boll and Joel Shumacher had nothing to do with this film. I shudder to think what they would have done to it. :D

Peace out. 8) [/b]
