Technosexuality, Pygmalionist, and Mind Control FAQ 3.0

Some of you may or may not remember some months ago, my asking the lot of you what kinds of questions you'd been asked or remembered asking when you were new to this sort of thing, asfr-wise. I asked the statue folks and the people into Mind Control as well. The idea was that I was going to write a sort of new FAQ as an update to the venerable and esteemed document by Robotdoll and Leem.

It occurred to me that there were NO real FAQ's concerning the Statue folk, the Doll folks, and the Mind Control folk, but there was a fair amount of overlap between all of those fetishes and our own. So I wrote a huge honking all-inclusive FAQ in an attempt to make sure no-one got left out.

Well, I just finished it tonight. I'm going to be snagging a background for the pages soon enough. But right now, it runs 47 pages at just under 5 megs WITH pictures. I wanted to send it out to a few people before making it public, but seeing as I'm operating with a Hotmail address, that could prove difficult. Is there some sort of online folder I could send this great honking Microsoft Word Document to so the lot of you could see it and let me know what you think before I get some web-space and post the thing?

If there's space here on Fembot Central, I'd certainly love to see it posted here. That way, people could come and read up about what's what (at least as I've been seeing it.) concerning ASFR and all its related cousins. I'd even want to encourage people to link to it, if they found it to be a worthy enough document. (M'really hoping for RobotDoll's blessing on this one, since he got the whole thing going FAQ-wise in the first place.)

0.1 - FORWARD, COPYRIGHT & DISCLAIMER

Once upon a time, there was a page called www.asfr.com. And on this page, was a FAQ about the rather unique form of erotica there to do with sexy robots. (One I contributed to under the name Innocent@vnet.net) And the page unexpectedly flourished, and there was much happy mechanical hedonistic fantasy. Later, the author of asfr.com found that real life's demands prohibited him from updating his much-beloved page. New stories happened less and less. Related Pages like the Hall of Statuary, and The Mannequin Lover's Homepage disappeared. Finally, www.asfr.com went dark, and a great silent mechanical wailing was heard.

A wonderful thing happened then, as is usually the case in these stories when they look to be their blackest. The people who visited these once-pages came up with pages of their own. People that looked at those pages came up with pages of their own. The genre overlapped with other closely related ones and the limits were explored and pushed. And the community has grown. And though in this day, some of those newer pages have come and gone, the concept is still going strong. Even ASFR.com has come back online in a newer form…

But the venerable ASFR FAQ, as penned by Robotdoll and Leem, seemed to fall by the wayside. As of this writing, it was a difficult thing to find. It wasn't updated in what seemed like forever. And at this point, I re-enter the story. This FAQ is an attempt to provide a more current and inclusive coverage of all the things ASFR has grown into and crosses over with. It should be considered by no means complete. And submissions are certainly always welcome, and you'll be credited if you are okay with such. Comments and flames will be read and considered according to their merit.

Why am I combining concepts of Technosexuality, Pygmalionism, and Mind Control all in one FAQ? Cos I want to, shuddup already! Kidding. Actually, there is so much overlap between the three that I didn't want to write three seperate FAQ's. Because they can seem so interlaced and refer to each other so much in my own descriptions, I thought it better to have it all in one big file than three little files you might not be able to find all of at once later on.

I think I got some web space with my new provider that I could use for the hosting of this guy. M'getting NetObjects Fusion 7 so I can format it all up and things.

But let me ask you folks. I did just get an all-text version of it formatted for perusal. Can I get a few volunteers to peruse it and make any suggestions they might before posting it as a sort of end-all -be all thing?

Or shall I post it in the stories section here section by section so everyone can have a crack at it?
