I reaally need your input NOW!!!!!!!!

Post by Mirage » Wed Aug 01, 2007 4:30 pm

As I am doing my comic, I am stuck at an eppafany, ippifany.. (fuck, to lazy to check the spell check!) a cross road, I guess.

I have a big question and your input will influence the story in some way.

What do you guys prefer?

female gynoid discover she's a machine by some accident?

or

you rather that she never discover she's a machine, only her human partner knows it?

PLEASE GIMME INPUT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!
(because that's exactly where I am at in the comic... )

Since the owner would have the ability to manipulate her memory, there's no reason you couldn't have both options.

Robot: "Omigosh! I'm a robot! Hey, what does that remote go to?"

Owner: "Nothing dear." *beep*

Robot: "What was I talking about?"

I gotta say that both are equally enjoyable for me. But if I need to be pressed to decide, I'd say the first as well.

Why not both, the beauty of a fembot is that after she figures it out, she can be reprogrammed to forget it... :P

I like the first one, finding out she's a robot by accident.

A fembot needn't be concerned either way. She's only a machine, however real she appears, and is designed for specific purposes. Why design her to be able to be concerned with such matters? Or even to appear to be?
That seems to me to undermine one of the purposes of lifelike robots, which is to have the useful and appealing properties of biological humans and none of the drawbacks (like neurotic anxiety or "existential angst").

Well, I continued the comic and I think it should appeal to most how I did it.

also, it's funny about the smart comment by xodar, because... well, you'll see what I did... ( i did the new pages yesterday before reading the new posts..)

Thank you all your help, I am finishing the last chapter soon. I am exhausted... did more 3 pages yesterday... one page is about 3 to 4 hours to make..

Getting tired a bit.. I think after this one, I'll take a small break for comics (maybe), this the most I drawn in about 5 years...

Did another pages this morning.... I think about 7 or 8 more pages to go to finish it...

I hope everyone will appreciate all the work I am doing... After all, this comic is aim especially for this wonderful little family of ours. :P
