Here's the problem. The engrams that light up with thoughts of sexiness (as defined in my brain) can't keep ahold of my pleasure if a male-bot shows up. This may sound like an intolerance, but I celebrate all adults non-harmful expression sexuality (at least in the abstract). I think my need to exclude the male-bot in order to enjoy the fembot is a low-level brain phenomenon, one which no one can fight, and which no one should have to defend.

I shall alter it to guybot as I find malebot to sound wrong.

I am also not a feminazi and do not at all object to the term girlbot.

I just have the presumption that due to this being a mainly fetish forum all bots would be 'of age' in design.

I am not too keen on the whole malebot theme but I could see how some folks might like it.

As for the fembot herself, I definately prefer her to be very nearly human if not totally human looking. I like it when she either shows her fembot nature through behavior (following commands, pausing, malfunctioning, etc) or through open panels or detatchable limbs.

I think the easiest way to explain it for me is that I am attracted to the control aspect of it. In my mind, the submissive female (fembot) finds her power in being the fantasy's very core, and making the dominant party desire to further control her.

In truth, the dominant party's control over the whole fantasy is merely illusionary - without the submissive he is also nothing. For instance, a puppeteer controls the puppet's every movement. But people only watch the puppet, not the puppeteer. Take away the puppet and the puppeteer is nothing. This 'give and take' of power between the submissive and dominant party, intertwined with feminine sexuality, creates the eroticism of the fantasy which lies open to the imagination.

Unfortunately, reversing the genders (female dominant, male submissive) also reverses the eroticism for me, even making it somewhat repulsive. I have nothing in particular against the female being a dominant, so long as the main female is submissive - she is absolutely necessary to any control fantasy.

It's all about the woman for me. SHE must be there or there is no fantasy. The less 'feminine' the fembot is, the less appeal she has. So for me, nothing beats a real woman simply pretending to be a fembot. And if it's obvious that she's pretending, then all the better (I do prefer it if she's good, but effort goes a LONG way for me).

An actual fembot doesn't appeal to me - it's just hardware (though I could still admire the quality of the work!) Oddly enough, I think this is not too common in this community. And once again, guybots are simply not my cup of tea!
