Joy, a fembot character for a web comic I'm doing.

A little about Joy.
She was build in the 1600s as a clockwork doll whom her mistress had magically animated, through the years said mistress(yes a vampire), has payed to have Joy's body refitted to keep current with state of the art technology!
While Joy will do anything her mistress wants her to, and I do mean anything, she basicially hates anything and everything.
As you can see from the expression on her face, she's not a very cheery type. In fact she's down right depressing, which is a stark contrast to her mistress who's way too giddy for a 500 year old vampire.
The comic has human characters too but Joy is my favorite to write material for!
If enough people like her I'll post a link to the comic.
I use alot of Daz3d products, I bought for Poser 7 as well as Photoshop(for the postwork.)

Thanks, she's becoming a fan favorite with people at DA too.
This things in her hair aren't antenna or anything, she just wears hear hair up in oriental style buns. And she hasn't really changed her fashion all that much since the days she was steam powered.

Thats very good work, and yes, I do mean all the comic so far. I agree, Joy definitely has a bit of a problem living up to her name lol!
But the picture work is good, the storyline is definitely promising and I look forward to seeing more of this in the future. I like her blonde friend as well btw.

So alright, I cant help hoping that Mistress (whoever she may be) decides to at least make the new girl into a fembot as well, but maybe thats hoping for too much. But fingers crossed!

yee sure had a good idea for a humanoid machine for that century, most people only think in robots likee "steam machines" with a lot of train resemblances...i hope yee are satisfied with your creation.

Well the fun part is that she can't be reprogrammed with a "nice" personality, she was brought to life and that was the personality she was "born" with!

Well there's isn't gonna be much in the way of missing face mask type stuff. Might do some open panel stuff later on, or a mantenance scene from time to time. Her Mistress does explain about her, and why she slightly differs from a conventional robot in on one of the backlogged strips.(I can't really say much else without spoilers)

That's the plan! ^^ The comic is basically on automation, on up tell the first update in September, I did a massive backlog for when I'm out of state in August.

She looks good! and the idea is rather new, AFAIK. I am anticipating the comic!

Joy seems to be a hit with people everywhere.
Can't say I blame em, she's a cute lil robot, despite the fact that she's got all the warmth and caring of a bucket of scorpions! I establish later that vampires commonly use robots like her as servants, so you might see another little fembot later on in the strip at some point.

I'm actually waiting on the draft copy of the first to get here, it contains the first 50 comics(I've got an enourmous backlog). If it looks good I'll sell copies.
