The second 12 episodes of Steel Angel Kurumi "Pure"
has started showing in Japan on TV, and is also available
streamed to the net. Each episode is shown for 1 week.
An unusual case of anime crossing into live action.

It's basically a comedy/love story. My Japanese isn't
good enough to get it all, but the boy has shut himself in
his apartment, away from human contact, and his father (?)
has sent 3 android helpers to coax him out, seemingly by
entertaining/bothering him so much he'll want to leave.

It's mildly amusing in its own right.

Little or no "robot action" except in he first
2 episodes of the first series, and I'd assume at the end of this
series. This week's episode has nothing along those lines except
a short shot of Kurumi's temperture panel on the back of her neck
at the end of the show. Couldn't make out the details, but maybe it's
foreshadowing of something bad. (Kurumi overheated once in the first series)

Too bad the girls are, well *girls*.

Hoping for some kind of adult supervisor android to show up or something, unfortunately the only adult on the show seems to be the boy's drunken mother, who stops by occaisionally. This simplistic humor is great for my studies of the language, as bad as my knowledge is.

Anybody know anything about capturing video streams?
Give me a few weeks and a dictionary, and I could probably fansub a 12-minute episode. Badly.
