Feedback on a new idea on a possible new story.
With the Winter Games in Turino coming to a close. I wanted to come up with an idea that would somewhat tie into the Olympic moment. I came up with the concept of a robotic athlete. Now I know it was done in a limited scale. For example the robotic pool player (too bad she was destoryed she could have been reprogrammed or scrap only to be recovered by someone else.)
So what if this gynoid can master several sports? Both Winter AND Summer. The ultimate athlete in the guise of a woman? Perhaps if she was built secretly or was part of a human family at one time. What could be a good hostile or rival for this gynoid athlete to fight in and/or out of the games. (Not neccessarily the Olympics but a smaller scale or the prelude to them.) Perhaps a scientist wanting to capture her for ill gains? I could use some ideas.

i was thinking about a story set like 60 years in the future where the earth has gone to crap and people in slums for fun have like i quess you could call them like fembot fights. People take old model fembots and kind of have them duke it out. The main character would go to one of these fights for the first time and witness a fight. For some reason he feels bad for the fembots especially the loser whom is damaged what seems beyond repair. He waits for the fights to end and goes and finds the fembot that lost and repairs her to the best of his abilities (of course she would have some malfunctions nothing huge but seris of little ones) but he fits her with the most modern emotinal and intelligence programing he can find and so far thats all i got. If anybody is interested please take a stab at it.
i got alot of school work and i don't have the time to really get down on it.
peace out,
Jake

how bout this
there can be this guy who is competing in the Winter Olympics. The problem is this guy was considered his country's worst competitor ever (he happened to make it due to one of the champion's accidents). He lands to the place where the events are held and notices three sophisticated women who are judging tonight. He thinks if he can seduce one of them, it might give him a better chance at winning. He does and finds out that the woman he seduces is a fembot. So after rewiring her circuits to his favor, he finds out that the other two are fembots also. After a couple days of some quick rewiring on the other two, he starts competing in the events. Sure enough he wins gold straight through.
A nice title for this could be "How I beat the odds"
Well, if you use this, I hope it turns out good.

Right now I'm thinking of two main characters. Both athletes one a male veteran who just turned 30. The other is the very human-looking gynoid that appears to be about 25. Since the Winter Games have just ended I'm going to go after that aspect first. I already got the name for the gynoid (Athletica 'Lynn' Sparks) as for the lucky guy that befriends her. I'll call him Frost...(Tom 'Icefire' Frost). Now that I named them any idea for some Winter Games events?

Speed skating is an event that requires the participants to be in such extraordinarily good health that they are always, without exception, very physically attractive. It also forces them to wear tight, tight engineered latex suits to reduce drag.
Frankly, you can't realistically write a story about anyone who is 'clearly' a gynoid competing in the Winter Games; I think the fact that such a thing would have to be kept secret, and that slightly poorer countries unable to raise real athletes would have an interest in it (e.g., lol, Great Britain), is fodder enough for a story. It depends if you want the 'athlete' to be a real character or a mechanical thing for the gratification of the reader. If it's the latter, you could even just write a story about real athletes using robotic copies of previous ones to prepare them for the Games.
