I ran across an ad for "valerie" a while ago - I think the price was 50-60K - it was an old ad - I wonder if they ever sold any??

I'm still waiting for any evidence that this "android" is anything more than a standard mannequin, a dream, and lots of BS claims that remind me of things I might have said in engineering school when made to give a progress report on a project I hadn't even started.

If anyone knows of anything, let us all know.

The Valerie website doesn't really show much progress. All I could find new was a hand segment (really just one working finger). I think the guy's serious, just underfunded and probably taking on more than he can accomplish.

Too bad really... I wish we'd spend as much money on domestic robot R&D as we do on automobile design.
