Another quick find I'm surprised nobody else has mentioned yet, there's a commercial for Alberto hair products where male and female mannequins are assembled (in fairly robotic fashion) and come to life. It seems to use live models the whole time, with excellent mannequin makeup prior to their awakening. About as good as the Toyota Matrix commercial; brief, but a nice find nonetheless. Probably more difficult to find online though, I certainly haven't been able to.

I checked some of the commercial sites on this, and one site asks for 12 lbs.....if you can find this commercial and it can viewed for free send me the link

It seems pretty new, although it could be a recently translated foreign ad: I've been seeing it on CityTV in Canada at all hours of the day. Had the name of the product a couple hours ago but have lost it.

I saw that ad in the UK last year and posted a link on the LMC site. There was a short thread in their forum which I've reproduced below.

There's currently an ad for VO5 shampoo on British TV showing production line of mannequins being put together, and they become LMs once completed. When the shampoo is put on the LMs they become real people and run away.

I have access to this website due to my current position as an advertising student, but they won't allow downloads without payment either. This is a website that purely archives ads for academic study, and the access model reflects it unfortunately.

I think the Alberto ad may be only running on Canadian television channels at the moment....as that is the only place I have seen it.
As for the content itself, you really arent missing much.
