Changes to the Gallery

It's about time we sorted through what we've got and reorganized things. Having almost 1,000 photos in one category makes it difficult to find what you're looking for, and also difficult to avoid what you don't want to see.

So, coming soon we'll be setting up some Member Galleries. Any member with 35 or more submissions of original work (scans & screens and stock images do not count) will get their own section. The first dozen that qualify are as follows:

brooks693
denny
eyebore

joden
Korby
nibigot
Sarabot
Xeran

More details will follow as progress is made.

Yes, indeed. You are up in the 50s range. Right now I'm primarily looking at the submissions in the Photo Manipulations category, but I know there are others that qualify because of submissions in other categories. Kishin qualifies, too.

Well actually, I haven't posted anything, but does that mean that if I post, little by little, I'd have my own gallery as soon as I hit 35?

I think Noid set the limit at 35 just to make me do 5 more manips, in order to get my own folder!

Change of colour for the site,have to say i think pink was more suitable for female robots but thats only an opinion.

Just one more serious matter,the gallery seems to have disappeared completely from view and even trying to link to it through the front page gets nowhere.

I'm trusting this is just a 'temporary' hiccup' through the changeover and it will be back soon?

Looks to me like the custom color setup seems to have unaccountably vanished, to be replaced by the board's default scheme. I'm guessing with the custom bits gone, the gallery link has also taken a powder; however, the gallery itself is still in its usual place:

Just the handy link at the top of the page is MIA.

Yah, the color change was not intentional. Korby is right in that we have reverted to the default style of subsilver. The pinkish bubblegum scheme has disappeared from the list of choices you can make in your profile and FIBlack has shown up instead.

I don't know why any of this happened, but as you can see I cannot log in as noidguy at the moment. That's because I was curious about the FIBlack color scheme and set up to use it in my profile. I must warn everyone DO NOT USE THE FIBLACK color scheme!!!!

Hopefully, one of the other administrators will be able to access the control panel here and fix things. We shall see.

I cant get into the gallery,if I use Korby's link I'm not signed in and if I try to sign in I just get one of the 'not available' pages appear

For me, Korby's link works but it opens what looks to be an empty version of the gallery. However if I go up to the address bar and replace everything after .com/ with gallery2, it works fine.
