Home Movies

Post by htb21 » Tue Mar 08, 2005 11:53 pm

Just saw a cartoon called home movies on teletoon in canada, had some slight content so i thought i would mention it here.

not sure if anyone has seen this, I thought the episode was entertaining myself.

I've seen it. It was one of the first shows Cartoon Network aired on Adult Swim. From what I've seen there's virtually zilch as far as robot content (granted, I'd often only watch because it was on before Aqua Teen Hunger Force)

Funny you should pick that particular passage as a sig...I recently saw the exact same verbage in some college student's window earlier this week.

Might I ask (at the risk of throwing off the topic) what the reference is?

htb's sig is from a particularly funny skit from Saturday Night Live. Christopher Walken plays a crazed record executive who insists that Blue Oyster Cult add more and more cowbell to "Don't Fear the Reaper." I know it doesn't really sound that funny when summarized, but it's sheer lunacy on TV.

But, to be fair, the line is "guess what? I've got a fever, and the only prescription is more cowbell!" Not to be a stickler for exactness or anything.

thanks TheSpotConlon fpr posting that explanation. You have got to love SNL! I saw that on its actual air date (at least i think it was ) but i was reminded of it the other day while watching the Will Ferrel SNL DVD. As with most SNL skits you ahve to see them to get the full humor from them. the cartoon i posted about really only cotains some female comic character pretending to be a robot for the purpose of filming a movie. no notable ASFR content so to speak other than that they are trying to contol her with a remote, and make mention of her being a robot. I must admit myself i would have never watched this cartoon if i wasnt waiting for undergrads to come on. wish they would make some new eps of that, Maybe Nits will find out kimmy is really a gynoid LOL not gonna happend but thats how i would write it :)

Undergrads! I love that show!

. . .Alright, I'll stop before I send this thread even more disasterously off topic.

Ah...okay. I don't watch SNL anymore, so I was just confused (as usual)

We now return the thread to it's regular topic
