Hitch
Nothing big, just thought I'd mention it.
At the very end of the new Will Smith movie "Hitch" theres a scene at a wedding with dancing, and as we all know, wheres theres dancing, theres often "The Robot".
So anyway, the bride does an all too brief Robot Dance, nothing spectacular but a nice snippet =)

Nice!
I've always wanted to make a little highlight reel of the all-time best "doing the robot" scenes in movies.
My favorites from recent memory are Superstar and The Princess Diaries ... Cameron Diaz also does it in Charlie's Angels. The girl in The Princess Diaries is really beautiful, but Molly Shannon gets extra points for just how into it she and the cast get in Superstar. She does it three different times in the movie, one of which has an entire cafeteria full of people doing it, and everyone looks completely blank. I'm convinced Ms. Shannon has a little fetish.

Yeah, I've been meaning to check out Ella Enchanted. The dance scene in The Princess Diaries is at the very very end of the movie and lasts maybe 5 or 10 seconds. I think I may have ripped it off the DVD at one point but I'm not sure if I ever bothered to make a file small enough to share. When I get some time maybe I'll look for it.UserJesse wrote: What is it about our friend Miss Anne Hathaway? She has a very pretty look and does that "zone out" expression to a T. Gonna have to go rent/buy Princess Diaries now to catch the scene, or is it very brief?
Loved when she did that matrix freeze scene in Ella Enchanted.

Don't know what lizard y'all talking 'bout, but UserJesse, yeah the scene IS pretty brief, but it's pretty pretty as well. The actress has got a real doll-like look to her even when she's NOT moving like one.
Not sure what manner of bee is in tlawson's bonnet either - we're all a bit too clean cut, maybe? OK everyone, part your hair on the other side now...
Me, I'm going to get drunk. Happy weekend everyone.

I just read all 17 of his posts again to make sure, and I can now confirm that he hasn't added anything useful since showing up. Just a lurker who pops up every so often to flame people for not talking about what he wants to read or making what he wants to look at.fection wrote:Not sure what manner of bee is in tlawson's bonnet either
tlawson, whoever you are, if you're not getting anything out of a particular thread, why not ignore it. And why not actually contribute something for a change instead of just sniping at other people. After all, it's not like the posts in this thread are somehow causing the stuff YOU believe "counts" as ASFR to be deleted or something.
