Andromeda: Moonlight becomes you
Well this is the only one with anything significant as in Gynoid related. Doyle shoots some "protector" door and gets hit with some sort of enegy pulse and flies against the wall and malfunctions. Later Harper has her undressed (don't see anything) and looks like he is working on her. She is shorting out. Later he "fixes" her and is tuning her up. The best of the season, and that doesn't say much.

andromeda
I happened to see this episode. It was the best gynoid episode I've seen all season. Great malfunction and deactivation scenes. The only problem was that there wasn't more of them. I enjoyed watching Doyle be repaired but I wish they would have showed some open panels or controls.

The actress' name by the way, is Brandy Ledford. I believe that Lexa Doig also plays a gynoid on "Andromeda."

Brandy on Doyle
(Sept. 21, 2004)
On October 8, fans can look forward to seeing Brandy in the new season of Andromeda. The season kicks off on September 24 and Brandy is introduced in Episode 3 as “Doyle”.
Doyle is a creation of Harper’s. He creates her to be his perfect companion: a lethal protector in pink denim! Doyle discovers that she has free will in common with humans and although she starts out as a fantasy femme fatale, she evolves into something much more.
“This is my favorite role to date” says Brandy. “Doyle is tough, smart and multi-dimensional. She is never enough android to be cold and unfeeling, yet while vulnerable, never human enough to be susceptible to the degradation of the human soul.”
Watch as Doyle becomes part of the crew on Andromeda this fall on the Sci-Fi Channel.

Better than screencaps
Try this link, but be gentle. If you're not really interested in a clip of Doyle malfunctioning then don't click. I'm wondering how much bandwidth sharing this file will take (the file is approx. 12mb).

Oh, and a big thanks to dementedLuke and his ftp site, and to whomever uploaded the file for this episode. I downloaded it and picked out the good parts.

Thanks Noid
Just wanted to thank Noidguy for making and posting that clip. Was that all there was of Doyle immobilized with her head back? I only ask because the sequence seemed abrupt.
Anyway, thanks again Noid!
Hey, anybody else find Harper one of the most annoying characters ever to disgrace a TV screen? Just curious.
