DVD anime

Hi all. 1st time posting so just wanted to say I saw an anime called "Parasite Dolls" or something like that at Best Buy the other day. Anyone know anything about this? It's been released by ADV Films. Looks like something from Ghost in the Shell 2, only from the owner's point of view.

Actually this appears to be a spinoff of the Bubblegum Crisis universe (though I'm not sure if it's the OAV or the TV series versions. The Boomers in the OAV seemed more robotic to me). Based on what I've read, the story appears to follow a detective branch of the ADvanced Police that concentrates on Boomer (robot) based crimes. I haven't seen it myself but the reviews that I read spoke highly of it. You can read more about this DVD on the link below.
