Yes:
- because I can't think of not having this orientation
&
- because I think the word is better used for our purposes, than for that other definition. Let them find their own freakin' word.
(though I guess "technofetishist" or "robofetishist" would also be appropriate).

I'm one of the two (as of this particular post) that had to go with the whole 'no' thing.
This is more of a hobby to me than a fetish...though, as I once observed, fetishes (to me) involve whips and leather and very uncomfortable-looking high heeled shoes...
...not that I would know about that, mind you
Doug (who is NOT into fetishes of any kind)

For me...that's a bit tough to answer, but it's leaning toward a NO... While I'm comfy with my persoal TECHsual Fantasies... that's how they will stay... FANTASIES. When s LABEL is placed on a term..... TECHNOSEXUAL, it will eventually just limit things in the category....while FANTASIES are individal, diverse, as passive, or TO THE EXTREME as anyone wishes..... so to answer the question, I guess that I AM ONE when I'm 'IN THE ZONE" but I'M NOT one all of the time...... ---minkwheel

A techno non sexual maybe for me,just that currently anything sexual is just a big turn off for me.Mind whether I would feel the same way with a cute female/fembot body is something I can only comment on should the chance arise, heres hoping!
I'm just a 'girl' who wants to become a fembot whats wrong with that?

This poll will probably get some funny results because some people may think you're asking whether they like the word "technosexual" to describe their fetish and some may think you're asking whether their fetish is some innate, inseparable part of their sexuality (or even whether the fetish is exclusive, i.e. does "technosexual" mean interest ONLY in robots?).
For my part, I consider myself just a guy who has a thing for robots ... I don't think of that as being a "core" part of my being any more than I would for any other hobby or interest. What word to use to describe it doesn't really matter to me. Like others, I still remember being knocked cold when I first saw asfr.com some 7 years ago, because I couldn't believe I wasn't the only one with these fantasies. So in that sense, seeing ANY word used to describe a group of people for which I felt an affinity (if not an official affiliation) was a reassuring thing that I welcomed. But the truth is, the word "technosexual" itself doesn't really do a whole lot for me. It's no better than any of the alternatives, but also no worse.
