The Digital Doll At The Nez Perce County Fair

Post by kb7rky » Fri Sep 24, 2004 7:36 pm

Wow, where do I start?

I finally met Ginger and Drew West at the Nez Perce County Fair this afternoon (9/24/04), and, guys and gals, if you EVER have a chance to see her, DO IT!

She's fantastic!

Here's some pix I shot today:

I think I scared her at first when I ran into her at the fair. I introduced myself (showing her my nametag and callsign), then she broke out in all smiles and said what a pleasure it was to meet someone from the Fembot Central board. I got to hang out with her and Drew for about 45 minutes or so as she did her routine, even shooting some video for her (Drew took a break so he could drink his coffee ;) ). She was very cordial, answered all my questions...even went so far as to give me a brief lesson on how to act like a robot. I was busting up too much to do that, though...

Today, they did Sacajawea and Charbonneau...not sure about tomorrow (Saturday), but Sunday, Ginger mentioned they were going to do Dorothy and the Scarecrow.

Let me say it again...if you have a chance to go see them, DO IT!
I'm glad I did!

Doug

ps If you get the dreaded "Allocated Data Transfer Exceeded" (as is common with Geocities) just wait awhile before trying again.

Hey Doug, not all that intrested in that type fembot acting although it's always good to see how some of us ASFRians look like. I really wish we can "get our heads together" on some cool logo in order to finally start
placing such on T-shirts and other items. I'm more than ready to buy. :)

Lemme guess...you liked the logo on my shirt?

Easy way to get one:

Buy a Neverwinter Nights Collector's Edition game...that's where I got that shirt ;)
