Mad Monster Party

Post by minkwheel » Wed Aug 04, 2004 2:04 pm

I know that this is a tad EARLY to report....but WARNER BROTHERS has just gotten the rights to do a LIVE ACTION version of the "animagic" sixties classic Halloween special from RANKIN-BASS called 'MAD MONSTER PARTY" .....if anyone remembers this cult classic, it had Boris Karloff and Phyllis Diller amidst the likes of FRANKENSTEIN, DRACULA, THE WOLFMAN, etc....among the guests was the lovely FRANCESSCA, she turns out to be a robot, as does the brainy guy who hangs with her through the whole pic....they live happily ever after and all that....but I wonder how this will play out in live action?? ---or if it all will change with rewrites ..........Hollywood is famous for them ....just wanted to give folks a head's up for a future film with gynoid-y potential..... --minkwheel
