New stuff for Cartoon Network

Post by minkwheel » Sun Jun 27, 2004 1:52 pm

Hi kids..... if you are into MEGAS XLR, watch for the SECOND SEASON to start, because they are introducing SAILOR MOON -like characters in the mix called 'ULTRA CHICKS".....they look like sailor suited schoolgirls, but transform into battlebots....... also, due to hit ADULT SWIM soon is the Japanese megahit FULLMETAL ACHEMIST....another cyborgy adventure with the main characters having to deal with bionic limbs, and one brother's soul stuck in a suit of robotic armor.... there are moe things to report, but I'll get my notes together.......--minkwheel

Wouldnt get your hopes up about FMA. Its more of a dark series about alchemy. His arm was destroyed and replaced with a metal one, he can change its shape though alchemy. His brother is just the suit of armor, the first ep was funny when his head fell off but its just empty inside. Though its not a bad series if you like suspensful dark anime.

Hi

I've gotten some DVDs of Full Metal from getterdome dot com and like them alot. But then I maybe dark.

There's another series which I spotted on Channel 5 sat morning called Xcalibur which has the lead female in a very gyniod looking outfit although more green tint than full on chrome.
